I almost don’t want to write this review to give away this special secret hidden gem! My husband and I have been to many B&B, s and this one is our favorite! The website doesn’t do it justice! The acoustics of the mountain makes it sound like you are right on the beach from your room! We lay in bed all day and just watch the waves crash through the sliding glass doors from our bed. There is all you can eat Tillamook ice-cream in the freezer-all different flavors! We drink our tea out on the porch swing outside while watching the ocean. We love the heated floor and the fact that there isn’t a shower so you are forced to relax in the tub! Oh and the food that was made for us! Wow! I have special dietary needs and was so impressed that not only did she accommodate us but the gluten-free sugar-free stuff was some of the best I have tasted! The restaurant Rosanna’s is really good and only 2 mts walk away! Oceanside is great b/c its very private and non-touristy! It’s tour favorite beach! Very beautiful landscape with 3 hugs rocks in the ocean. It’s very reasonably priced too!

This place is amazing! The view is beautiful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The owners were very nice and accommodating, AND they have a freezer stocked full of Tillamook ice cream! Couldn’t get any better.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Turtle Jane’s last weekend, and we would definitely go back. From the clean, spacious bedroom to the heated bathroom floors to the AMAZING breakfast and fresh-baked treats, to the friendly and well-traveled inn-keepers, to the glorious view of the ocean, it was a near perfect place to stay. The only thing that made it just slightly less than perfect was the footfall noise coming through the ceiling(Jane and Don live upstairs), but the only time we really heard it was when Jane was hard at work making us a delicious breakfast, so this felt like a reasonable trade.

What a great B & B! Right above the ocean, and both rooms — there are only two — face the ocean with spectacular views and the sound of the surf all through the night. We stayed in the larger room, which has a bench and a swing facing the ocean — so relaxing. The rooms are beautiful, the bed so comfortable, and all the amenities — including fresh-baked cookies each evening. Jane and Don are so friendly and interesting — they’ve traveled all over the world — and the breakfast was out of this world: great chai, gluten-free granola, fresh berries, cornmeal pancakes, scrambled eggs with feta and chives — prepared to order, when you get up. It’s just up the hill from the village and the ocean, and we had a terrific meal at a cute little place, the Blue Agate Café. We can’t wait to go back to Turtle Jane’s

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Turtle Jane’s Bed and Breakfast, owned by Jane and Don Sandquist. We found the accommodations to be updated, beautiful and welcoming — the view was spectacular from our room. We stayed in the Tortola room, but either room is perfect.(You’ll love the warmed bathroom floors.) Jane has loved turtles of all sorts all of her life and has a collection that she has creatively and tastefully incorporated into the décor, adding a delightful and unique touch to the setting. Jane prepares a breakfast that will satisfy you for the entire day! Each morning we had a feast full of variety and flavor. Don is the coffee maestro, using freshly ground coffee beans for each pot. Trust us, you will be well-fed and spoiled, wishing you had your own personal chef at home! Oh, and there was always a tasty treat waiting for us in the afternoon. To top it all off, Jane and Don are wonderful people. From the minute we stepped into their home, they made us feel as welcomed as forever friends. They have lived a full life, rich in extraordinary experiences. We enjoyed each and every conversation we had with them. We truly recommend Turtle Jane’s and look forward to a return visit. Touché, Jane and Don! You both are wonderful examples of a lives well-lived and in keeping the adventures new and fresh! Warmest wishes for continued success, Turtle Jane! Janna and Bryan

We found Turtle Jane’s on a coast trip this past weekend. We had stayed and played on the coast until late and didn’t want to make the drive back to Portland so we looked for a place to stay the night. We tried Oceanside as we were near Tillamook and we thought it would be nice to have an ocean view. Holy cow, Turtle Jane’s is great! Our guestroom had a private entrance and plenty of space. From our bed we looked straight out onto the Pacific. I guess the B&B was recently renovated and it shows. None of the frilly typical Oregon coast decore. We had lovely furnishings and the bathroom had a large claw-foot tub and heated tile floors! Breakfast was delicious. We were able to pick the time we wanted it served and went with 10am. We had individual huevos rancheros and then coconut waffles. Divine! Will definitely repeat!
