I came here for lunch on a Sunday with a group of 8 for a post whitewater rafting meal. It was around 3:30, and there were probably 2 – 4 more tables with patrons in the restaurant. It was clear fairly quickly that the staff was definitely«off». The hostess seemed a bit flabbergasted taking our drink order, admitting she was new, only 17, and could not serve alcohol(which is fine — but why explain all that — just find someone to bring the drinks!). It took a while for the waitress to actually come to our table. She was very friendly, and seemed to be the only waitress in the place. A few of the items were out that we tried ordering. She did bring some complimentary cheese dip to apologize for the long waits. The food is your standard Mexican fare — HUGE portions. I would like to say my experience was not the norm, and they happened to be short staffed. There aren’t a lot of places to choose from nearby, so I would recommend trying this place out but be forewarned when you walk in if it looks like they are short staffed!

Terrible food and service. The food was disgusting and the staff did not take good care of customers.

First of all – the food!!! Really. It is so good. The chicken soup had fresh lime in it and a very tasty homemade broth. The masa menu had authentic items on it that reminded me of being in Cuernavaca. The rice and refried beans are tasty, and the quest fresco is actual really cheese(not processed crap). The waitress was phenomenal, keeping the free hot lemon water filled with as much dedication as if it had been beer. She gave great recommendations and was very kind with our 3 yr old, too, who was super squirmy. The wait was a bit long because we ordered two things that took longer to make from scratch than others, but we will call in advance next time. So grateful to have such a high quality option off 64.

Ok, so I have to start this review with the food was amazing. So now thats over with on to the bad part. The service is extremely slow and a little but out of sorts. I’m not sure if they are just short handed or if they don’t have enough grills or what but this was the longest I’ve ever waited for mexican food to come out. Things could have also been better communicated but I don’t think it was the severs fault although it could have been handled a little better. I would say if you’re going to Adventures Unlimited for a trio didn’t the Ocoee, then it’s worth the stop. Hey it couldve just been a busy day. Great food though for reals ;)

Best Mexican in the area by leaps and bounds! Both their Tex Mex and authentic Mexican are fabulous. My favorites are the gorditas and the chorizo dip but everything I’ve ever had was fantastic. Their salsa selection is great and I love the super spicy options as well as the avocado.

My wife and I visited Don Armando Mexican Restaurant on 10÷18÷15. The food is much better than the average Mexican restaurant. I had the Enchilada dinner which is your choice of Chicken or ground beef. I chose the ground beef. My wife chose the chicken. It comes with rice, beans, lettuce, Sour cream, tomatoes with green or red sauce. As usual with Mexican Restaurants they bring you a commentary setup of chips and salsa. The chips are a little tough and the salsa is a little on the spicy side. They do not offer a milder salsa. Pictures of the menu and of my plate are included. There are also pictures of the chips and salsa. All in all, this is one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. They are down US64, about 1 mile past the junction of US64 and US411. Try it. I think you will enjoy the food and experience. Since they do not have a paved parking lot, there is no designed handicapped parking area. However they do have a ramp on the left side of the entrance.

Really great mexican food!!! The carne asada is really tasty as well as the queso dip. They also have great chips and salsa with additional homemade hot chili sauce.

Seven of us dined in here after white water rafting!!! The service was good, our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Started with complementary chips and salsa, chips was thin and flaky, and salsa was tasty. We ordered many food items so I don’t remember the names. Everything was OKAY but guacamole(must try) was hit among all, it was fresh, had right amount of heat and flavorful!
