Hair Cuttery

I would not recommend getting your hair cut here if you are a female. I can’t remember her name but the Hispanic lady did a terrible job on my one length haircut. I’m not a stylist not have I ever had training but I can tell she did not use any proper techniques on my hair. The length is uneven and choppy all over. I even noticed the woman who’s hair she cut before me was choppy and poorly done (one length cut as well). To be honest my haircut is a joke. She should really consider going back to beauty school. DO NOT LET HER CUT YOUR HAIR!!!

First off: I’m a guy. No, that wasn’t a declaration of gender, that was an aside to let you know the gravity of the situation. There’s no need for guys to spend $ 95 on a haircut.
I used to live by the mantra, «get my haircut wherever I feel like it.» It’s not that easy, as all that hair places are created equal.
Enter: the Hair Cuttery in Ocoee. Now, there are a lot of you out there who will be turned off by the name alone. To you I say: «Nay…You.You naysayer»
Yeah, it’s a Hair Cuttery. So what?
These guys know how to cut themselves some hair. I’ve been going to Carl for about a year now and I can honestly say I have never left his chair not feeling the confidence that comes with a new ‘do.
The salon is clean, the stylists are always cleaning and sweeping. Shampoo areas are clean, stocked with fresh towels and the ambience is what you would expect from a salon like this.
It’s in a shopping plaza nestled between a Mexican restaurant and a UPS store. Now that’s America! Plenty of parking available. Clean exterior.
The entrance is pretty average, half a dozen or so wire chairs in a perimeter, a bin of magazines highlighting some hairstyles and do’s, the occasional ESPN magazine for your perusal.
I’ve seen how the other stylists work with their clients, and I can say with confidence that they are all invested in your personal well-​being.
I’m not that demanding of a client, but my schedule frequently has little time to devote to errands. Carl is always able to acquiesce to my time requests, my style preferences, and even remembers the details about my last cut (and even what we talked about!)
When you’re finished, ask about the deals on styling products. They always have some deals going on; the last time I was there it was buy one, get one half off.

Don’t be turned off by the location of this place: it is one of the gems of Ocoee.
