Yvonne D Duffe, DO

I love Dr Duffe! You can’t help but like her the first time you meet her because she is very down to earth and easy to talk to. I was looking for a general practice doctor and found her ad in a Windermere area magazine. After researching what a DO is I decided that was exactly what I needed.
My first appointment was simply for a routine visit so she ordered blood work. What she didn’t mention was that she wanted to check my vitamin D levels because in her mind I looked pale. Sure enough, I was way under the limit and after taking vit D and getting a little more sunshine all my muscular aches and pains went away!
I’ve been going to Dr Duffe now for about three years. My last visit was again routine and when I mentioned I felt I was taking up her time when I didn’t need to be there she asked why do you take your car in for service? Why rotate the tires? Why change the oil? That was like a mini ah-​ha moment for me!
The only reason for not giving her office 5 stars is you will wait. Take a good book! Dr Duffe takes her time with each patient giving you her full attention. You will not be rushed and she is worth the wait!
Now this last routine visit has morphed into a few more «car service» visits i.e. mammogram, dexascan, ickyoscopy etc. sigh… oh well, more to Unilocal about =)
