First time eating here. My family and I enjoyed the food and the outdoor seating. It took a long time to be seated because it was a nice night and people were camping at their tables. Our food came quickly once we were seated and the servers were super friendly. Was not a fan of their French fries… Too thick… It was like biting into a potato.

ate here Sunday night. all we ordered was appetizers and it took 45 minutes for them to come. service was just so so and it wasn’t very crowded. another couple came in after us and got their food, drinks, and check and were gone before any if our food came out. food was just average. won’t be going back here again.

We went on a beautiful spring day and enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the lake. The made to order omelettes were delicious. We will go back and try the lunch or dinner menu.

This is my second review for Bucky’s. I was there this past September and though the wings were terrible. So when the owner asked that I give them a second shot, I took him up on the offer. I had been in a couple times for some Badger football but not to sit down and eat. They have hired a new chef, Chef Bernie. CB was manning the omelet station this Saturday morning. Very personable, eccentric type. I like that over the stoic chef who just want to cook. They had a variety of veggies and meat for your eggs. Just the way the wife and I like. I like the chunky bacon. Looked to be bacon ends which made me happy. The omelets were great. CB is generous with the fixings and the cheese. He added a little cheese to the plate to melt under the omelet. this is Wisconsin. Of course more cheese made it better. Bloody Mary with the omelet was delicious. Right amount of spice with the garnish not being overboard. Unfortunately the beer chaser was warm. So was the wife’s. I mentioned this to the waitress– who was very attentive– but she didn’t seem to care, saying it was because it was the first beer of the day. If that is the case, then you run the lines so you did give warm beer to a patron. I mentioned it basically as a warning so they could check their system and make sure they didn’t have a problem with the cooler. Other things that could have been better. Silverware would have been nice. I had to grab some out of the bucket. It was cold and though we asked if they could turn some fans off, they never did. I’ll be back to try the asian fusion CB mentioned. Good thing food trumped the warm beer.

Went to Bucky’s for all you can eat crab legs, Tom the bartender was great, he was very attentive, when we were getting down to our last crab legs, he was right there to see if we wanted more. Loved the flavored butter, try the garlic!

I’m in shock of the poor reviews here! Our first visit was on a Monday night, All You Can Eat Crab Legs for $ 21.99. We were crazy impressed! The service was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. They don’t skimp or make you wait forever for refills on crab, they are on top of it!(We used to go to another place nearby and they tried to fill you up on pasta & bread and take a loooong time for refills.) The fries were really good & the crab was cooked perfectly! We also ordered the fried steak bites, those were really tough, but everything else was so perfect I can’t fault them for one bad thing. They had half priced drinks til 6 too. We joined their birthday club Bc they say you get to drink free and get a tshirt, sounds great to me! Great atmosphere, pretty view, they have boat docks, and friendly people. May be our new Monday night go to place.

Worst breakfast ever! Just left here. My pancakes were burnt/black. Food was beyond disgusting! Ate one bite and couldn’t eat anymore. I’m going home now to make my own breakfast because I’m starving now. What a waste of time and money. Steer clear of this place for breakfast!

Ask yourself this… If you just threw a surprise bday for your fiancé having roughly 60 – 90 people show up to this establishment staying around from 5pm-10pm spending lots of money on drinks, shots, food etc… You would think the bar owners would be appreciative towards you… instead the bar owners wife gets in your face screaming like a child at the top of her lungs. ZERO respect for the hardworking patrons that live in the community… On top of the screaming after words she says«I hate your family» her family being very frequent customers and also sharing with them 4 seats SEASON tickets for the 2015 Badger Football season. These are the same people when we wanted to throw a benefit for her father after he had a near death stroke they wouldn’t offer to help in anyway… This may be the most disrespectful bar owners better yet business owners in a small community I have ever seen… I will certainly advise everyone I talk to about this place and I hope they do not earn a single penny in the future. Its people like this that ruin a community and take people for granted. People like this should not be allowed to own a business. I highly recommend to go to one of the several other bars /restaurant in the area… IE Foolerys, Spit Fire, etc… You will atleast be appreciated for your hard earned money elsewhere… Cant wait to see a new establishment here… People like this usually fail anyway…

Looks like they’ve made some nice improvements to the old hibachi room, it’s cleaners, has light bulbs, and the tables all had chairs… It might even have been painted but I can’t remember because I couldn’t actually see in that room since it was sorry poorly lighted. Service was very good and attentive, didn’t have to wait at all. Crab was over cooked, soggy, and pretty blah… Only come back because my wife likes crab so this maybe coming to a thankful end soon as she was less than pleased with quality this and the last time. Entry way is still a black hole and a total disaster. Poor lighting, beat up door and handle, and then entry… Well it looks like the primate house at the zoo… But only if the zoo had been closed for 20 years! This may not matter to them… Sept 6, 2015 In response to Ray… I appreciate your feed back, but a lesson my very wise father told me when I very young was never to «buy» your own BS, and you my friend are in the BS buffet line. Everyone please look at the bottom of the reviews, note that 29 reviews are considered not credible and are greyed out as BS, 25⁄27 are five stars… Even Unilocal calls BS Rolf! I appreciate the passionate defense … But take a step back and check out your place… if you’re happy with it for what it is… Own it. It is what it is. I am invested in our area… If I wasn’t, I and everyone else would either say nothing and allow you to wallow in ignorance while your«friends» say great job! We are invested in seeing quality businesses do well and prosper. I want you to do well and prospers, but you can’t seriously think you’re doing a good job and can’t improve because your doing the very best you can?! I look forward to seeing improvement… For Pete’s sake people are giving you free real feedback in hopes of you improving … use it! If not, great job, your doing your very best because there is no room for any improvement… Said no one ever.

We went to fooleries first. We were not greeted by anyone for 5 min so we left and went to buckys. We were greeted right away and the food was really good! The only complaint is we were there over the summer and I ordered the«breaded motzarella sticks». They came wonton wrapped. Which I sent back cuz I don’t like them wonton wrapped. So 6 months later the menu still says«breaded». They are still wonton wrapped. I know some people don’t care. But I do. Because of this: my husband ordered a platter. And the plate came with 4 what we thought were motzarella sticks. No. They were 2 poppers and 2 wonton wrapped mozzarella sticks. They look the same as the mozzarella sticks. Well I’m allergic to peppers. Sigh.

We walked in and out. Their waterside patio was packed with happy faces. For me it was too loud and the atmosphere«tired». It seemed like a great place to get wasted on a Sunday afternoon.
