Holy smokes!
The Oconomowoc Arts Center is an extension of the High School. This extension was added on in December 2008. Prior to its’ opening, the old Middle School auditorium was used to host the band concerts.
The OAC is absolutely stunning. As a child I had gone to many, many, performances by the OHS Wind Symphony at the middle school auditorium. The new OAC facility beats the PANTS off the old middle school auditorium. Think Sharon Lynne Wilson Center, but on a smaller scale. The sound was fantastic, there wasn’t a bad seat in the house. There was a lot of thought that went into designing this facility.
I am very happy to see this new auditorium, it is a welcome addition to OHS and the fantastic arts program they continue to grow.
