Miranti Awards & Engraving

I went to Miranti in 2o13 after finding them on Unilocal and it was such a great experience. Great selection, fast and excellent service! I have been back there a couple more times since then. Awesome service too.

It’s been 3 years since I wrote my last review on Miranti and decided it’s time for an update. Miranti has ties to the base and does quarterly and annual awards for a lot of units, especially the Air Force ones. Miriam is our go-​to lady and she is reliable, does excellent work (I’ve had errors with other places) and helps us create custom gifts and saves us when we’re in a pinch. My unit Commander gave Miriam a coin for saving us so many times.
Cash is definitely favored. Don’t mind the funky building, this is a prime convenient location for me. I go to Bill’s Dry Cleaners and then come get my plaques and stuff here. If I know what I want, I usually email my order in and then call to make sure Miriam understands what I wanted. But if not then I’ll just stop in and I usually try to give her a week or two notice because she’s usually slammed by people who wait until the last minute to order something (I’ve NEVER done that! haha.)

This is the go-​to-​place for my workplace when it comes to going-​away gifts/​awards. Before I knew about this place, I went to the shop on base and was charged an arm and a leg for the most basic base and engraving. Then I was told about Miranti’s, and I am sticking with them from now on. For less than what I paid on base, I am able to get a more decorative looking base and enscription plate made.
The place is kind of «well» hidden. Its on Rt 175 on the 2^nd floor of the building attached to Bill’s Cleaners. There is a door next to the salon which will take you up some stairs and the store is all the way in the back of the hall. There are parking lots on both sides of the building. The store has a nice charm to it. The owner and her family have always been the greatest to work with. When we had a slightly unorthodox idea for a going-​away gift, the owner brainstormed some ideas on how to make it work. She definitely has a talent for this.
Their proximity to base (right outside the main gate)/hours of operation (9 – 5 Mon-​Thur/​9 – 4:30 Fri)/quick turn around on our gifts have made this place the ideal spot for all our awards/​engraving needs. So if you’re looking for a special personalized gift for someone, you should definitely stop on by Miranti’s

This place always get’s it right when it comes to engraving, but the selection of isn’t as large as I’d like. I have gone here regularly to get going away gifts for my guys. Nobody is every disappointed. Depending on what you want, it probably is cheaper to get going away gifts on base at the hobby shop, but I’m never sure of their hours, so Miranti’s is definitely more reliable. The lady who owns it is extremely nice and is full of good ideas.
