BEST WESTERN Garden Oasis

Don’t bother bypass Odessa completely this is the armpit of TX nice people in the MOTEL but with 5 locks on the door and a parking lot full of ford 150s which were all gone in the morning DO NOT STAY HERE keep driving out if Tx in fact don’t drive thru Tx go around

I have been across county twice and the first time to LA stayed in this motel. The room was nice, but the selling point was the inside pool and «oasis». Very lush, and lagoon like. The rooms were standard, but the attached steakhouse was very good.
Why the 2 stars?
The way back was a completely different story. It is a roadside motel, so I did not make reservations. When I got there they were full except for a smoking king. I am close to my Friends. but not that close. Ok, cool, I understand that (even though nobody in the parking lot).I have no issue. They suggested a motel next door. that should have been condemned. (I would review that motel, but I doubt it has any kind of legal paperwork to consider itself a business). So we walked back over to this hotel to eat at the nice restaurant that I ate at last time. We sat and waited for about 30 minutes for acknowledgment. There were 3 servers in a 15 – 20 table room… we couldn’t have been missed. We get our drink order taken. another 10 minutes, and never heard from anyone again. After about an hour (I wasn’t in a rush, we just drove from LA and tired) we got up and went to DQ. I have never been so amazed at poor service in my life.
Upon leaving the desk clerk was talking on their cell. and he asked if everything was ok. I said «No, you restaurant sucks a bag of dicks and you suck too».
