I’ve been to this Denny’s twice now. The food is as usual for a Denny’s nothing special but I go for the zesty nachos, the club sandwich is also good. The waitress wasn’t too good today.

I sat there for 1 hour waiting for my food… It was not busy and all I ordered was a burger. I had to ask for a to-go box because it took so long. I probably won’t be coming back here.

Waited 50 mins to be seated. And other 45 for our food. My Santa Fe skillet looked like it was the left overs from an other table. I asked my waitress of it looked right to her she said no and blamed a nooby Cook. The other resolution offered was to have it redone. Not willing to wait another 45 mins I declined. They re cooked it anyways. Will not be back to this location

I wish I knew what my servers name was. I had my wisdom teeth out and this week I could manage to eat pancakes. They were a little umm crisp but hey its ok. My server was awesome and on point, and i wish more of Odessa would be like that.

First off when we arrived there was one one male waiter working the floor. We almost left but we’re hungry so we took a chance. He ran over to our table we gave him our order which he did not half to write done an took off and returned with our drinks. I watch him he was all over that place as he had lots of customers. Our drinks were never empty. He always had a smile. I wish I new his name. Denny’s here’s a tip hire more wait staff.

With dennys overpriced, frozen broccoli, soggy fish and over cooked pot roast I was very disappointed with my recent visit. We received no ice in our drinks. They were out of half of the menu. They take the fish and chips so literal I received stale tortilla chips instead of the fries(chips) that were shown on the menu. The broccoli is clearly microwaved steamed from a bag. The water had a sour taste to it. Fortunately the waiter was kind and the unsweet tea was decent. However, our waiter did not know the menu at all. There were employees yelling at each other from across the restaurant. In the dessert display case there were opened half eaten pies. It was pretty rough and nasty in there. Save your money and go next door to McDonald’s. Yes it was that bad!

Just moved to Odessa, hungry and willing to eat at the first restaurant we came across. That restaurant happened to be Denny’s. Parking lot was packed. I’ve been eaten at various locations and although this was by far the busiest, we were seated promptly. Unfortunately, the food took at least 30 – 40 minutes to arrive at our table from the moment we ordered. I ordered a medium sirloin steak w/mashed potatoes and mac & cheese. The sirloin was dry, but not as dry as the mashed potatoes. Our waitress was kind and polite and did check up on us a few times, so stars for her.

Disgustingly filthy. I was served coffee in a dirty mug. Literally a dirty coffee cup that had not been washed between uses. At first I thought it was just a coffee stain so I rub it with my finger and it came right off. Then I turned my cup around and saw the fresh lipstick print. Needless to say my family and I left without eating. If I could give this place zero stars I would.

I ordered onion rings, corn and veggie skillet. I found beef in the veggie skillet. When I showed it to the waitress, she ignored it. I requested partial refund, since I did not eat more than a few bites. She gave me 20% discount. Very bad service. Do not eat here. I am sure the cook used the oil used to fry chicken to make the onion rings.

Walked out after 25 minutes waiting, after seating myself as instructed. Could not even get a drink order. no more than 10 patrons and 2 waitstaff. never again.

I strongly disagree with the other reviews! Denny’s is Denny’s, harsh reviews are about comparing Denny’s to a five star gourmet restaurant that serve you samples and $ 200 bottles of wine. This restaurant is a known family restaurant that serves meals and entrees starting at $ 5 !!! The first Unilocaler Jamie, did not just rate the restaurant but she also rated the customers with bad comments. Advice: 1. If you do not enjoy being around older people, families with kids, you should not be at a family restaurant. 2. If you dont want rough necks to gaze at your cleavage then why are exposing it? 3. Get a life! This Denny’s is an older place, run by great staff and employees, this stands out to me as this is a rare finding in Odessa, excellent customer service by smiling and pleasant people. The food does not taste different than any other Denny’s that I’ve been to, probably even tastes better. Nothing tastes bad or like crap that as described in other reviews. I am a returning customer, it’s a good family place for breakfast, lunch, & dinner!

It’s a Denny’s. Good for breakfast and we are vegetarians so their veggie burger is good for us.

Food was like every other Denny’s except they over charged us and made a mess of some things. These people are morons.

It is what it is. It’s an old Dennys, but you still get what you pay for. My server was very nice and attentive. Great coffee. Same Denny’s food you’d get at any other Dennys.

Unilocal once ate my highly detailed review of this place for breakfast. I can only hope it gave the site’s server the kind of indigestion Denny’s gave me. One can only say so much about a Denny’s. It’s the only 24-hour joint in this part of town and is therefore always busy. It’s got a full bar, which I didn’t utilize, but which strikes me as odd for a diner but necessary in this town. You need to stay drunk or otherwise inebriated to handle the place and not lose your wits. Waitstaff is OK, but not interesting. Crowd is varied, but pretty universally unpleasant(families out for a lengthy meal with a bevy of toddlers at 11 p.m., roughneck types whose gaze never lifts from your cleavage) or uniterested(ancient couples out for Sunday brunch, roughneck types whose gaze never extends beyond the tip of their cigarette). Food is typical Denny’s crap, nothing interesting or good. And it all tastes like the unfiltered smoke of the cigarettes that are de rigeur in this place.
