Great local eatery — solid place for wings, burgers and sandwiches. Specials are good too. Service is always very good. Beats going to chains by far.

Clean, nice staff, and good sandwiches. I stop here once a month or so for a Reuben. They make a really good one. Nothing over the top, just good sandwiches and cold beer.

Always fresh ingredients, good weekend specials. Best wings in town. It’s my families go to place for lunch and dinner. Friendly atmosphere. And ICECOLD beer… so cold !

What a great experience we had the other day! So much so that I had to up the stars in my review. We reserved quite a few tables for a large party because of a dear coworkers retirement. The servers did an incredible job at keeping the food and drinks flowing. It was a bunch of random people including kids running around, and they were there at our beck and call the entire time! On top of that, their food was absolutely delicious! The wings there are incredible. And the fries are some of the best ones I’ve ever had. They have some great draft beer with some great beer specials for happy hour as well. Bottom line: great place to stop and watch the game, have dinner, or go for happy hour.

Why 4 stars? Because the food is really good and that’s why I keep coming back. I’m really a burger guy but on every visit I keep trying something new. There was nothing worthy of sending back and that’s always a good sign! I’ve said this on their facebook so I have to say it here too. Add the Beer Cheese appetizer to the menu! They had this as a special one day and we fell in love with it. If you’re not going to bring it back, at least share the recipe with me! Back to their burgers… I had the mushroom and swiss and it was one of the better burgers I’ve had. I’ve had different sides and I’ve enjoyed all of them except for the cole slaw. We all have our preferences so it’s not fair for me to say their slaw isn’t good. I prefer mine creamy. Their slaw is not but it does have a good taste to it and they do give you a generous portion. Their potato salad… OHYES! That is some good eating right there. I’m almost tempted to go there now just thinking about that goodness. It is nice and creamy just the way I like it and doesn’t have that vinegar after taste that some potato salads do. If you are looking for a fancy place, this isn’t it but it is good and that’s what should matter when you’re going out to eat.

I’ve been here a bunch of times, and I always get the same thing, a chopped greek salad. I’m always bothered by the up-charge for a «chopped» salad, but I always just suck it up because I really do prefer it that way. The food is usually fresh and tasty, but it is really hard for me to give this place 4 or 5 stars simply because the staff is quite«rough around the edges». What I mean is this… They are pretty attentive, but the way they speak is overly blunt, cold and generally not friendly or welcoming. It’s almost as if they’ve settled or gotten comfortable to never have to provide quality service. Just my opinion.

What the heck has happened to this place? Use to be a reliable favorite but not any more. Sat at the bar for 20 minutes and never even acknowledged… While waiting, heard several complaints regarding slow and incompetent service. Too bad, this place was great…

Great southern cooking. Solid amount of food for the price. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Casual décor. Quiet crowd even when crowded so no trouble having or hearing conversations over lunch. Love their daily specials!

Look, you’re not going here for the ambiance. It’s a bar type atmosphere and if you’re expecting more in that department you’re going to be disappointed. But if you just want a good meal, the classic bar style food is really good. The wings are excellent, and on top of that, the other food offerings are actually really good as well. I’m a big fan of the pork tenderloin sandwich, but I’ve never been upset with anything I’ve ordered.

Did a great job of taking care of our biker group. Drinks always full apps and meal came quick. So I would say this is a great place for a group outing. Food was good with a lot of sandwich selections. For you pickle snobs the pickles are really good.

I really do like the food here especially the buffalo chicken sandwich but the service is rather poor and it takes quite a long time from walking in to out.

The food and the service here are great! My husband and I went for our first time and it was arguably one of the best experiences we’ve had in the Tampa area. Yes, the décor gives it a dive bar feel but the staff and managers provide a warm and welcome vibe. The manager checked on us and even gave us a gift card for coming in! The food was delicious and came out lightening fast. I cannot say enough good things about this establishment.

I like the mom-and-pop feel of this place. It’s very casual and is not high volume at all. It’s a great place to come and hang out with friends. There’s a pool table right next to the bar top and a few video games nearby. The dining tables aren’t too close to the games and bar top. The food is good and the service is good also.

Ok so the place REALLY needs a makeover. Between the toilet seats for decoration, the video game at the entrance, and lighting coming from $ 50 ceiling fans this is the definition of dive. It has a great beer AND wine selection. The crab cakes could use more crab but the acute added sauces and toppings made it a treat. Ordered a medium burger that came well done but still juicy. Good fish & chips with plenty of steak fries. Service was excellent as was the price. Wanted to really like this place as the food is good, but doubt we will be back.

Service was great, but that was about it. The«cheesy beef» soup tasted like a dip and the fried pork chop sandwich was so thin, I literally couldn’t see any meat when I bit into it. It was also extremely plain and the bread just fell apart under the large amount of condiments that were on it. The steak fries were nice and hot, but I couldn’t eat anything else.

This is a very nice place for a good lunch without going broke. Casual yet very clean and professional service. I had a sandwich called the triple and loved it. This is not a New York style deli or the Jersey kind, It’s a Florida style pub and eatery. If you’re looking for Jersey, GOTOJERSEY!

Hmm, where to start with G. Peppers? I guess I can start with the atmosphere since that’s where my biggest hang up is. Immediately upon walking in, you realize that you’ve just walked into a family-style sports restaurant. You know, the type of place where there are old guys at the bar watching NASCAR, retired folks order the cheapest specials on the board and large redneck families with kids running around the tables playing with Matchbox cars and the like. The wood paneling décor just puts an explanation point on what a disaster this place is, visually. Not one to be deterred by appearances alone, the chica and I decided to order a glass of house wine and an appetizer – the BEERBATTEREDMUSHROOMS. We sat and looked over the menu, sipping our wine and eating our delicious mushrooms whilst contemplating where we were REALLY going to go for dinner, because this wasn’t going to be the place. After I finished my wine, I might have wanted some water, which everyone in the restaurant seemed to have on their table except for us. My glass sat empty from the time I finished it until we left. Our server never asked if I wanted more wine or if I wanted something else to drink, and that was annoying. A lot of items on the menu looked good, mostly sandwiches, and I might be curious to try something and get it to go, but it’s highly unlikely. Only time will tell, I suppose.

Best burger I have had in the bay area… and great prices. I am not a big beer drinker, so I wish they could get their hands on a full liquor license. Update…second visit was good burgers, but bartender had an attitude. She pretty much pulled our plates before we finished eating.

Great little eatery up in Odessa on Gunn Highway extended(about a mile north of Sickles High School and the big Publix grocery store). G Peppers is located in a little strip mall, and they’ve been there for years. Very popular with the locals which can include horse farmers, golfers, and area residents. The food is quite good and they offer homemade soups, salads, sandwiches, daily specials, and some nice deli sandwich combo options for lunch. The servers are very friendly, and the prices are extremely reasonable. Please check the attached photo… G Peppers is offering a free appetizer, dessert, or beer for people who write a review in Unilocal or Urban Spoon and then bring in the proof.
