We have had our house insurance with Natiional Lloyds, through Killebrew insurance here in Odessa, for almost 10 years. Never made any claims, but per usual, paid a higher rate, year after year. House values(and prices) in Odessa have risen steadily over the years, everyone that lives here knows that. We bought our house for $ 40,000 and that is all NatLloyds/Killebrew has ever covered it for. Even though our property value is much higher now, my house insurance with them would only pay out $ 40,000 in the event it was needed. Killebrew agency assured me that this was the best rate/coverage I could get with any of the companies they deal with. Ok. So, I needed to update my email, and I called National Lloyds, since they are the ones that bill me, and communicate with me via email. I asked them to simply update my email-easy enough. They wouldn’t do it, said I had to contact the place I bought my insurance policy through. So, I made a simple request to Killebrew-I asked them to update my email address. They wouldn’t(or couldn’t, I don’t know) update it. I called twice, and the woman at Killebrew was very nice, told me she would get it updated, and never did. I called again, she said she would call me back, never did. Apparently I am not important enough. So, I switched to Farmer’s/Myra Cantano, also here in Odessa. They have my house insured at $ 120,000, for $ 20LESS per MONTH, than Nation Lloyds/Killebrew. Kimberly, at Farmers, also responds to all of my calls and emails, same day.
