If the tour guides hadn’t been so kind and knowledgable, the review would have a lot less stars. The farm itself was a lot of fun for our kids, but don’t expect decent customer service, or even to be treated like a human being, by the woman who works the front desk. She didn’t even greet us when we got to the window, as she was on the phone about a birthday party. She would greatly benefit from some customer service training, although I doubt she would humble herself enough to take it. She didn’t even acknowledge our presence for at least ten minutes and then was rude to us the entire transaction. She needs to be trained or replaced for the success of this business – she’s the face of the company.

Nice place for a one time visit, but believe too expensive for what you see and get, adults $ 13, kids 2 – 12 $ 12. The kids get to go in a chicken pen and chase and pet chickens. In different pens pet a pig, goat, and a donkey through a fence. The horse/pony ride was probably the most exciting thing for the kids. You can not roam the farm by yourself you have to be in a tour, which takes about an hour and a half, but once the tour is over your day is over, no hanging around on your own.

Took my 1.5 year old. He really liked it but it’s a long tour so if you have little ones take a stroller! Take lots of anti bacterial wipes. The farm is nice and well kept but my only concern/complaint is for the poor cow that gets«milked» 1000 times a day. Her poor utters were raw and she would flinch every time someone touched her. I refused to «milk» her. I voiced my opinion and even our tour guide said they need to get another cow to give her a break and that her utters have been in worse condition.

We went with some friends expecting to have a relaxing day wandering around the farm and checking out some petting areas. I guess they have too high a volume of visitors to allow that and it didn’t work out very well for us. You can only do somewhat rushed tours where you are brought from station to station, and as we were warned there is «NORUNNING» — which with a high energy two year old made it tough. I think we were looking for something with a little more freedom for the kids to run around and enjoy.

My family and I visited today, October 12th. We arrived at 9:30 am to beat the crowd and for the most part, successful in doing that. The farm is very nice. Well maintained and clean. If you have small kids, you can drive up to the main building, drop off the kids, and then drive a couple hundred feet back to the parking lot. It takes maybe 2 – 3 minutes to walk there. The tour works in a giant circle with stops at each animal location. We saw donkeys, chickens, pigs, turkeys, baby chickens, baby pigs, horses, and goats. The main reason I wanted to visit here was because the website said the kids would be able to interact with the animals. The only ones they truly interacted with were the chickens and goats. The remaining animals were only allowed to be touched with one finger. So I was a little disappointed with that. The other thing I didn’t like was hour random people were added to our group. We started out with around 10 and towards the end we easily had 30. This diminished our experience because everything became really crowded. It seemed like they were letting people just roam around. For a family of 5, it cost us $ 57. Overall, a good experience. Kids had fun. I would recommend that you bring some water to drink. It does get hot and they do sell water there but I didn’t want to pay the price.

My wife and I did a wedding photo shoot here. This place is beautiful! Definitely an ideal location if you are looking for a rustic eligance feel for your big day. Their staff was so professional and easy to work with. We got ready for the shoot in their cabin quarters which was a perfect set up and location for the bride and her bridesmaids to get ready. I am active duty military and they are super grateful and supportive of our veterans. If you are looking for a really cool wedding venue with a country feel, this should be your go to spot!

This is a nice place to bring kids. Our tour started with petting some pigs, we also got a chance to pet goats, bunnies, milk a cow, ride a horse, take a hay ride, and catch chickens. I have to say it’s nice being able to interact with the animals for children, versus taking them to a zoo where they can only look at them in their cages. Our little one had a great time, she did not want to stop catching those chickens! I only wish the tours last a bit longer, but all in all, I would recommend taking your little ones here if you get a chance.

Located in the Odessa/keystone area, Old McMickey’s farm is perfect for children under the age of 8. We had a groupon and took my 3 year old nephew. We all really enjoyed it. Groups leave every 15 minutes, and you must be with the group at all times. At first I was a little annoyed we couldn’t go off on our own, but now I know why. It would be too chaotic and too unsafe for the animals to have a bunch of kids running around. You stay at each station about 15 minutes. The highlights for my nephew were the chicken coop(they allow you to pick up the chickens), the pony ride loop and the slide. We also visited with potbelly pigs, mini donkeys, milked a cow and played with Pygmy goats. With our groupon it was $ 10 for 1 adult and 1 child. We paid $ 12 for the extra adult. I don’t know if I would have paid $ 35 for all of us to get in, but with a groupon it was a good deal. Oh! They also have a covered barn area where you can host a kid’s birthday party.
