The food here is very good and the service speedier than most. With that being said, their order accuracy leaves much room for improvement. I always have to double check my order before I leave because 9⁄10 times they forgot something.

This place was disappointing. The décor is bright & colorful with lots of seating options, but it has a weird set up. It’s not like an actual restaurant where you are seated by a hostess and have a waiter to serve you. Instead, you enter and order your food(as if you were going to McDonald’s or a Taco Bell) and then find your own seat. There’s a nice little condiments bar where you can get all the salsa, pico de gallo, & other fixins you want. The food came out lightning quick! I mean, we had barely grabbed our drinks and sat down when our numbers were called to pick up our orders. That’s the only plus side ’cause we were super hungry. Hunger is the best seasoning but this place didn’t even satisfy us, who were starving from traveling and flying all day. I had the pork tamales meal which was covered in red sauce. It was bland, and was drenched in the red sauce that was neither spicy, nor did it add any flavor to the meal. The two chips strategically placed in my frijoles was a poor attempt to adding depth and height to my meal. I didn’t come for an art piece, I wanted good Mexican food! I wish I just ordered tortilla chips because the salsa rojo and pico de gallo from the condiments bar was good. My husband had the beef fajitas and he was unimpressed as well. There were big chunks of beef, onions, & peppers, but not a lot of flavor. Overall, I was hoping that the Mexican food would be more«authentic» and flavorful, but I just don’t know what all the five star reviews are about… it was just«so-so». I’d like to say, «Next time I’ll try…» but I doubt there will be a «next time». The search of good, authentic, Mexican food continues.

Colorful fun place — combination drive-in/restaurant. Freshly made tortillas are great! We had the beef and chicken fajita dinners with rice, beans, quacamole. They were ready quickly. You order when you walk in and then pick up your tray of food when your order number appears on a screen. Family friendly fast food place describes it best. It’s not an elegant restaurant but the food is good

When I stop by in Odessa/midland, I check out rosas cantina for lunch. The food is pretty good and the steak fajita plate is my fav. The meal comes with Spanish rice and refried beans. Altogether the food and a drink will run about 10 bucks. It’s a lil pricey but the tacos are good and the salsa bar is pretty good too.

Just like a Taco Cabana or Taco Bell but with prettier décor. I was expecting more, based on reviews.

I have never eaten here before but when I did decide to go the menu was complicated and they tried to rush me through the drive thru. I also asked for my burrito to have more cheese and lettuce and they put more guacamole than anything. I had repeated what I wanted several times with a very flippant attitude. I probably won’t return.

Noisy and crowded. Of course crowds mean it is popular. I however did not find their food that good. It was not bad, so don’t misunderstand, I just think it was OK nothing special. I do like their tamales, and also the tortilla’s. Those are both very good. They have taco Wednesday where you get a taco dinner for 3.99, cannot go wrong at that price.

I love Rosa’s Café but it’s getting ridiculous. Especially the beef fajitas burritos, the serving size is ridiculously small, one has to double their order now! SMH

Above average for price. Salsa bar is above average. Much better than Taco cabana. The dining area is charming and spacious. Open late.

Usually I have a long review, but I went to Rosa’s Café’s drive– thru, got some chicken enchiladas and then. Ate them. That’s about it. They were really good. The rice and beans tasted great, but the salsa was super spicy. Of course the salsa part is just personal preference. Overall, their drive– thru service was quick, like I thought they were going to get my order wrong quick. Thankfully, my order was correct and the food was really good.

Garbage. This place makes Taco Bell seem gourmet. The chips in the nachos are stale the meat is not seasoned the entire plate is served cold and the taco tasted like I could’ve been eating it from a dumpster. These people should be ashamed.

Our recent visit to this Odessa establishment was pleasant. We were served promptly and efficiently by the very polite hostess. The food, however, was nothing to write home about. It was decent fast Mexican food at reasonable prices but not at all impressive. I probably wouldn’t revisit.

The McDonalds of Mexican fast food — boring, predictable, and plain. I absolutely refuse to eat here and contribute to the growth of consistently bland and boring Tex-Mex food when there are so may truly authentic Mexican food restaurants in the area.

Food was good but not the best in the world. Overall, the crowd in the restaurant was loud, lots of young rowdy teenagers, which was a little annoying, but not so bad that I wouldn’t go back. There aren’t a ton of options in Odessa, so I’d probably go back.

A fast food restaurant that is on par with many others across the state. The food was hot, and the tortillas were the star. Nothing special, but worth the visit.

#14 beef with a side of guacamole. For those of you not in the know, that is a beef fajita taco with queso nestled in a soft, steamy fresh tortilla. It does not get any better! The mesquite-smoked flavor is absolutely delicious. The addition of the guac adds to the flavor, and dousing it with some of the salsas from the bar make for the perfect fajita experience. When I am near a Rosa’s, I will get a dozen to take home. They freeze quite well. And since Houston doesn’t have Rosa’s, I’ll take what I can get. Sometimes they will skimp on the meat, so if you get multiple tacos, check them out and reapportion where needed. Do not be fooled by the fast food appearance and counter ordering. This food is the real deal.

I love Rosa’s and this restaurant is outstanding. Fast and nice service. Food is always delicious. The location is very convenient, right next to Wal Mart, Sam’s, the Music City Mall and UTPB. Although it is busy all the time, the restaurant does really well in providing good service.

You can’t miss the large pink building that is a trademark for the Rosa’s Café chain… This restaurant is like fast casual mexican on steriods. The chicken and beef for the fajitas, etc. is smoked over mesquite. The salsas on the salsa bar are made fresh daily. And the tortillas are also made from scratch daily. Actually, everything on the menu is fresh and made in-house. They also have beer and margs if that’s your thing. The recipes are authentic(straight from the mom of one of the Head Honchos). And these babies are popping up all over Texas. Also, be sure to try the homemade chocolate cake, or the carrot cake that is made from a sister restaurant in Temecula, CA. I live in CO now, but every time I am anywhere near a Rosa’s, I make it a point to get my fix.
