Thank goodness! I moved from Cali to West Texas and I’m so thankful for Susie’s. She has almost all my favorite snacks and most ingredients for dishes I need. If she doesn’t have something just ask and she can probably order it for you. Must try the food in the deli section. Tastes like home! :) When I’m really missing home I can come here and eat all my comfort food. I haven’t tried the Phở yet but, that’s next.

The food here is amazing. Customer service is great. I love the dish I got. The menudo was very flavorful and the stew is delicious. I would highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for good food on the go or to eat in. It is very good 5⁄5.

Her Pancit & fried bananas dessert is soooo good! Best home cooked asian food ever… I’m not going to miss Odessa for a second when I move but the fried bananas are enough to make me drool my way back…

Susie’s is great! The main part of the store offers Asian goods for cooking and snacking. The back part is the kitchen where Susie and her family make different Filipino dishes every day(and sometimes Vietnamese Phở). And they are now offering boba tea! The food is so good and wholesome, I seriously have to refrain from going here every day for lunch.

Love Love Love!!! I love Susie and I love her food. There isn’t anything I don’t recommend. I usually call in the morning and order for pick up. My favorite go-to’s are menudo, phở, pancit and her spring rolls. There are other items that I just love and will get a little portion when I’m picking up my order. Just go and check it out!

A great lunch spot for home-cooked Filipino food. Susie works the counter and supervises the kitchen; she’s a wealth of information and a one-woman dynamo. The lunch specials always comes with good rice(which is sometimes hard to find in West Texas – crunchy rice seems to be the norm around here), well-seasoned meats/vegetables, and some lumpia on the side. Again, Odessa offers a splendid Asian food offering(try Odessa Donut for some phở and banh mi). I’m both surprised and impressed.

Susie’s is great! I’m from the bay area part of Cali and if I ever get nostalgic for home– I come here. It’s Odessa’s Little Manila– but, I do emphasize ‘little’. They have most of the main ingredients needed for anything Filipino food related all the way down to the lumpia wrappers. I come here mainly for sinigang and sisig mixes as well as the premade Tocino and longanisa for the special Sunday breakfasts on the weekends. I have ordered pancit and lumpia from her special kitchen in the back– it was okay, the lumpia came out a little burnt for my taste but my coworkers(non-filipinos) loved it! Susie herself is friendly and helpful and tries and accommodates us if we have a craving for something special we can’t make at home(ie– diniguan) — go to susie’s just to check her store out– u won’t be disappointed.

Easily my favorite store in Odessa. What really makes this store great is the customer service. They know how to take care of the people who support their business. They gave me free samples from their deli and it was very, very good. Since then i try and frequent the store as much as possible. It’s nice when store employees know you by name and treat you like a friend. Please support this place.

I had to stop by here and check this place out. I needed some ingredients to make Pancit. This is a filipino owned store, but it has southeast asian products as well.

An asian market in West Texas? Why, yes! However, it might not be for long since business is hurting which is quite sad because it’s a great place to get some good eats you’ve never heard of or grocery items needed for making(which seem to raise the ire of Texans) and cooking asian meals. Where else in the permian basin are you gonna get eucalyptus candies or durian cookies? Prices aren’t crazy so it’s worth a look to see if there’s anything you haven’t seen and might want to try. You can’t miss it since it’s next to the Russell Jones dojo on 8th st. and yet even Google seems to be missing this place. That’s truly a shame because there’s a lot more to food than mexican and bbq.
