Advanced Door installed me a new garage door a couple of years ago when I was remodeling my home. They did a great job and it looks awesome but the cool thing is I was having some trouble with my door 2 years later and because they have a lifetime warranty on my door they fixed it and didn’t charge me anything.

The sales people were great, they knew the product and promised the deliverables. Unfortunately, the installers were less than stellar, for example, instead of giving us an option to rewire the second garage door, they just draped an extension cord across the entire garage, didn’t tell anybody, then left…
I understand the quickest route is the easiest, but it made more cleanup for me, and that I didn’t like…
They also left a slab of glass in our driveway and a giant bolt in the gutter. They didn’t ask about where to place the buttons, so I ended up moving them to a more usable spot.
Our second experience with installers was better, when they had to come back to install the decorative hardware that was left off the invoice the first go.

After I purchased an Angies List coupon ($ 49) I called to arrange a visit, and Royce arrived right on time.
The coupon covered a full inspection of the door, frame, parts, motor etc. I had noticed that our older garage door was excessively noisy and Royce advised that it would always make a degree of noise being an older door, but he could make it much smoother and quieter. He highlighted several brackets that were old and in poor condition, a few rollers too.
He replaced the lot in no time at all and then gave the whole system a once over with some lubricant, careful to show me all the nooks and crannies so I could repeat in the future. The coupon covered the cost of the call out and labor, leaving me to simply pay another 95 bucks for the new hardware parts. A bargain really.
Best of all now, my garage door runs more smoothly and quieter than it ever has.
