I’ve been to the layton one several times with rather great experiences. Ate here at 740pm and the food was not fresh. My meatloaf was cold as well as other dishes. Steak was not cooked the way I asked. The steak my girlfriend was served was really dark like it had been sitting for an hour. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Gross gross! My husband was served a raw steak and the only thing I could find worth eating was the rolls.

I don’t want to judge to harshly since it is a buffet, but the food all looks greasy like warm and like it has been sitting all day. The food also looks like it has lots of unhealthy things snuck into it. Even at the salad bar the turkey doesn’t look lean. The prices are expensive to. If you want a variety of crappy food for an expensive price go here.

Why for the love of God, why would you eat here? Crappy food, crappy service, just plain crappy. I can’t even drive by the place without my stomach clenching. The only conceivable reason I can think of for eating here is that you can eat a mountain of garbage for a relatively low price. The ambiance is something like you would expect at Walmart. Similar clientele as well…

This was the worst service I’ve ever had. Granted I know it’s mainly a serve yourself place but the«waitress» who checked in on us was less than satisfactory. She brought my fiancé a new drink the minute he finished his. I waited through out or entire meal and nothing. Not only this but every time she’d walk past she’d glare at me. Later my fiancé said«you’d think that I cheated on her and left her for you.» We’d never met before in our lives. I was so dissatisfied and so was my fiancé we didn’t even tip which is completely against my standards!

We don’t come here often, as we don’t go to buffets very much. Took my dad here for breakfast on a Sat morning. Place had quite a few people. There were lots of choices to eat. They could make eggs your way, omelet your way, and various buffet choices. Now you had choices of anything breakfast. bacon, sausage links, patties, ham, etc etc. Different hash brown choices, and various other items, such as corn beef and hash. They also had a cook making items to put on your plate straight from the grill. The food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. Mass cooking buffet leaves out a lot of quality. Don’t expect super great tasting food, some of it was bland, some is great. And it is hit or miss, one pan of hash browns may be lacking the salt and butter, and the next could be exactly how you make it at home. Service was great, she kept the drinks filled and plates taken care of.

You get a lil bit of everything. from classic American food to Mexican food. If you’re on a budget & trying to feed your family than this is the place to dine at. Good food esp the dessert section — love the chocolate fountain & cotton candy.

Okay food I’m only Unilocaling because if you go request where Benji is serving. He is a great server! I always give him a huge tip. Update: Since I quit smoking I realized that the food here is yucky and Benji is no longer working there :(.
