Amazing drip coffee, fantastic espresso and drinks and the best hot tea selection and flavor around. I work on 25th and come here easily 3 – 4 times a week for coffee and tea. Best part about it is the employees though. Friendly and smart batistas that know how to make good drinks quickly. Love the atmosphere and the fact that they put so much focus on Ogden and 25th street. Killer local business that I will continue to support with a smile!!!

Coffee and espresso are only as good as the one making it and here they have plenty of talent. Amazing drinks Delicious baked goods

Great coffee, wifi, and some awesome looking eats! They had lots of specialty pumpkin/fall flavored drinks and the pumpkin toffee drink I had was wonderful! They also had muffins, burritos, and quiches that looked yummy!

I have been enjoying this coffee shop for many years, and I come here almost every day that I work. My experience has always been consistent. I feel very welcomed here, and I love that this location makes their own almond milk and pumpkin sauce for drink flavoring. Also, Jenny, who runs the bake shop makes the MOST incredible deserts. You can’t make a bad choice here.

This place is adorable, their coffee was excellent and I couldn’t help but buy a chai donut. Delish! If you find yourself in the area, bypass Starbucks and you won’t be sorry.

I come back here every couple of months hoping for a better experience. The barista’s always make me feel like an inconvenience(I order simple drinks). The Coffee Compound a couple blocks away(2417 Grant Ave) provides great service, and better made drinks. Good bye Grounds For Coffee!!!

First time there, but I’ll definitely be going back. Super friendly service at the drive through, quick, and the coffee was great. I had a large black coffee and it was the most flavorful coffee I’ve ever had, without even a touch of bitterness. So smooth, and not at all like the nastiness Starbucks serves up. The rest of the family had a couple Caramel Vanilla Lattes and a Hot Chocolate. They all loved them. Great local secret that I’m glad we found.

Not a bad coffee shop. Pretty much like any other with soothing music in a typical coffee shop. There’s a bunch of seating inside the shop, upstairs and the main floor. They also have a chalkboard just in case you get bored or have kids with you :)

Cool local shop with a «far from latte» feel. The counter staff took time to find me a vegan snack. I settled on a bagel, and they suggested coconut oil. Oddly enough, it was delicious! It will be my new spread for bagels when available. And I’ll start using it at home too.

I am from Portland Oregon and think I can fairly judge a good cup of coffee. This coffee was awful! I can’t believe I said ‘I should have gone to Starbucks’. Their coffee Not only tasted like it had been badly burned but also tasted as if the grounds had been reused and they used old dishwater for the water source. DONTGOHERE!

As a customer I found it pretty offensive when only 15 minutes after closing, and me not being even halfway done with my drink, the barista yells across from the coffee shop«hey we’re closed!» As if she was asking us to leave and then turning to the customer next to her and saying«but don’t worry, you’re fine, you can stay and read your book.» I have been a barista at three different coffee shops and I have never felt the urge to tell somebody to leave only 15 minutes after closing when they aren’t even bothering me at all and I have everything else in the world to do before I worry about clearing the table they are sitting at. I will say though, it was kind of entertaining listening to the barista turn away the horde of customers coming in for a drink one at a time after hours because she way too lazy to go to the front of the shop and lock the door. Not to mention 10 more people did the same after they made us stand outside to finish our drinks. I guess a 50% tip on a specialty drink isn’t enough to get good service. In a town where you could throw a rock and hit the next coffee shop, you figure employees would go the extra mile to stand out in the crowd. Not here.

Horrible space, horrible service, 15 minutes for a tea… I mean shit it’s hot water and a bag.

Italian soda is bland, espresso is good, slow service, no 2%, baked goods are excellent. Beans and Brews and Mason Jar Coffee are way better, or the Grounds on Harrison. Not worth the convenience. Never happy with any of my drinks unless they were made by one specific worker.

I was in town for a couple of weeks visiting a friend and we would often come here. It’s a nice place to hang out because they have lots of seating and it’s very cozy. The service was good. The coffee was good, but not amazing. It’s in a good location, too.

Great coffee. Had a large latte– nice and rich flavor. Creamy consistency. Service was super friendly but a little slow. They really just needed another person behind the counter. I came Sunday around 1pm. Had to get things to go but would totally come back to hang out or study. Lots of tables, good atmosphere, music isn’t too loud and adds to the ambience.

Cozy, friendly little spot for a good cup of coffee, located right on 25th Street in Ogden. Prices comparable to chain coffee houses, but the coffee, baked goods, service, and ambiance are far superior. Good menu, with food choices that go beyond muffins and drink choices that go beyond tea and coffee. Plenty of cutely mismatched, clean, and comfy seating choices, unlike some other small coffee houses where the furniture seems to be a result of dumpster diving. Often offers specials for Weber State students. I’ve always had super-friendly, efficient service and terrific coffee at Grounds. As an added bonus, they carry many of the local, independent newspapers and magazines, many of which are free, so you can get some good reading in during your visit whether or not you brought your own literature.

Came here because I was in desperate need to get outta my hotel room. Good lord it’s stuffy in there. So I came here… and ‘checked in’ to get a free upgrade on my drink… went from a regular sized mocha chiller to size GIGANTIC. PROS: 1. Free wifi… password is ‘groundsforcoffee’ 2. Second floor balcony is cute 3. Delicious mocha chiller 4. Cute atmosphere CONS: 1. Closes at 8pm 2. Hard to find power outlets on the ground floor 3. Require key to go to the bathroom 4. Slow service from the redhead working(I don’t expect to wait 7minutes in line if there’s only one customer in front of me… minimize the socializing and get my order)…she’s hot, if a little impatient. I prefer fast and courteous service. I don’t like it when I feel like I’m bothering you. If I ask you what the wifi password is, don’t get irritated. If I ask you for the key to the bathroom, don’t get irritated.
