Topper Bakery

Bad experience today. We usually use toppers for work and the last couple of times have been disappointing. My order is never ready on time, if you are unable to fill a large order that early it is something that needs to be mentioned. We have about 800 employees who take their breaks/​lunches around when this will be ready and are disappointed when it is not on time. The assortment order was not done right and there was confusion. Instead of calling to confirm what was requested, they started making the order as they saw fit. When they did call they seemed annoyed with ME that they made almost all of the wrong cookies before calling to verify. Half of the cookies were burnt, and hard to eat. Will not be returning after no attempt of reconciliation or apologies for the trouble. I cannot wait an additional hour when I have meetings, etc to be in back at work. SUCH a bad experience today.

My wife read a review of this place awhile ago and at the time we loaded up and paid a visit on a Saturday. We soon found out that they do not bake on Saturday so we were without a donut that day. I had Friday off so I decided that was the day to go and try the sweet goodness. I thought the Donuts had good flavor and price. I did not like the texture of them. They were not light and fluffy like many raised Donuts in the area. Don’t get me wrong they were good but not great. I also got some rolls out of the day old basket and they were good. I believe their specialty is breads and rolls, which they make a lot of. I’d order hamburger buns or hot dogs buns here they look good.

I used to work at a local restaurant that ordered bread from this place for all of their patty melts, pita bread, and other sandwiches. I CRAVED the Rye bread that was used on the patty melt for years! Finally went in to Toppers today and the owner personally made a special order of this Rye bread for me! To my surprise the quality was just as good as the restaurant I worked at
I can see how this place has 1 star for curb appeal, but amazing customer service and Amazing quality bread!
Ps my brother also worked at the restaurant and went to toppers and got a batch of pita bread. Still original recipe and amazing quality!

Affordable and delicious! The workers are incredibly friendly and always tell me all about the pastries. I can’t wait to get my birthday cake!
