When I go to Ogunquit, this is where I stay. It is not fancy, but rooms are nice and very clean. The views are great. It is close to the Marginal Way and several restaurants. Breakfast is the morning is good but not great. The staff at the front desk could be friendlier. All in all, I would recommend staying here.

Second year in a row that we selected Sea Chambers for our Ogunquit trip. More likely than not, we’ve found our annual«place» that we’ll always book. So why Sea Chambers? It feels comfortable. It’s not ritzy, but perfectly imperfect. It has the best view in town. It is a great value. The staff is great. The guests are our kind of great. The rooms are a little dated, but very comfy. They remodeled the pool and added a fire pit. All great. Most importantly, they are in the PERFECT location for everything in Ogunquit. Did I say PERFECT location? After all you don’t go to Ogunquit to sit in a hotel room! They’re like a 0.2 mile walk to downtown and 0.8 to Perkins Cove. Also, the entrance to Marginal Way and the footpath to the beach are literally steps away! I look forward to seeing you there!

We stayed at the Sea Chambers hotel for one night to celebrate our friend’s birthday. The accommodations are pretty basic. The rooms were clean, the staff was super friendly, and the location was great-within walking distance to the many shops and restaurants around town. This place has a pool which looked nice(we stayed in the off-season so we didn’t use it). We loved the big deck that overlooks the ocean. We used the deck after a long day of exploring. We were the only ones there-we had cheese and wine and put on some nice music. It was a perfect end to the night. We woke up early in the morning to catch one of the most beautiful sunrises we have ever seen. We would definitely come back-we were only there for one night but this one night stay gave us a lifetime of memories.

Hubby and I love Sea Chambers. Location, location; you can’t ask for better. Just slightly out of the main crowded area of downtown, so that it feels more oceanside and quiet, but it’s really a one minute walk to wherever you want to be in Ogunquit. Watching the waves crash right outside your window is priceless. The view from your deck is of a vast expanse of ocean, really nice to hear at night and wake up to in the morning. The staff could not be friendlier and although the room is a little old school looking, it’s large and there was a little partition that separated the beds from the bathroom which is very nice. There is also a daybed so that our son could have his own space. DVD’s to borrow from the desk were highly appreciated on a rainy day. The breakfast is just bagels and baked goods, but it did the trick, as none of us is carb afraid, and the coffee is perfect. Breakfast is served in a little house called the Sea Bell that is an art gallery in the afternoons, so it’s great to sit, sip coffee and admire the art and photography. We even bought something to remind us of our long weekend getaway. We are looking forward to returning.
