Had a wonderful stay at the Admiral’s Inn. Hotel is clean, newly renovated with modern rooms. The pool and outdoor sauna were clean. The gym equipment was new with a wide variety. The staff are friendly, courteous, and go out of their way to assist you. The hotel is secure with security systems monitoring the entrance and staff always present at the front desk as you enter and exit. Continental breakfast was included. Fresh fruit, juices, breads, cereals, and cakes were delicious. The coffee was freshly ground. The hotel is within walking distance of the beach and town. Overall very good experience. Will definitely be back!

Drove up from Massachusetts for the night, booked within a wedding block. The group for the wedding had all their rooms together which is nice to be near family and friends. Room was clean and modern. Rates were reasonable. Slept great in their wonderful, king sized bed and had a wonderful, long, hot shower in the morning. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Would definitely stay here again.

We spent 2 nights. The place is clean. The front desk gave my partner the second key so HE would have to stay up and wait for me to arrive later. He was told by front desk no one would be at desk by time I arrived. You can hear thru the walls so bring ear plugs. They offer breakfast but were out of coffee both days and we didn’t want to wait. Each guest received one towel(I like one for hair and one for body — like most women). I would go for the cheaper hotel rather than spend the extra like I did this trip

Really nice little place. We stayed off season and got a good deal. Every one was really friendly. Chatted with the owner a while and got some really good recommendations of fun local activities. Room was super clean and modern and really close to downtown and the beach. And they let us park our car there for the day as we walked the town and beach.

We are getting married and looking for a place without a two night minimum for our guest to stay. We called and spoke to a gentleman at the desk who informed us that there is no two night minimum and gave us information and told us to contact Tanya to set the block up(after congratulating us on our engagement). Then I emailed Tanya who didn’t respond for quite some time(until I actually sent a second email following up). She then sent an email stating that we were misinformed and there is a 2 night min. When asked since her staff was the one that misinformed us if they could honor it she was very cold and stated no. Also, for the cost of this place you could stay somewhere MUCH nicer in the area. Just FYI this place does not honor their mistakes!

Ok, so this place is a little strange — not really as nice as a hotel and not really as small as a motel — somewhere in between. Given it was less expensive than most of the other options in town, we were pleased overall. We stayed in the adult-only building. There was no AC in the main entrance and it was very warm in the halls. The pool/hot tub closes at 9PM, which was a real bummer since it’s an adult-only building you’d think there’d be a bit more freedom… The room was pretty okay — oddly everything was nicely updated but the floral curtains. Pretty dark so hard to get ready and they could really use FULLLENGTHMIRRORS. It’s nothing special, but met our needs just fine!

I recently stayed at the Admirals Inn for the weekend with my boyfriend. We really couldn’t have been more pleased with the service and friendliness shown by the staff at every turn. The room we stayed in was in the older house, so a little outdated but charming nonetheless. The rest of the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The staff went above and beyond to educate us about local attractions. Also, the restaurant and karaōke lounge onsite is fabulous. We were treated to wonderful live performances by local artists and delightful cocktails. The lobster eggs bene was great, and they have 12 in house bacon infused vodkas to chose from for bloody Mary’s and other creatively done classic drinks. Highly LGBT friendly but also plenty of families. The one reason it’s not getting 5 stars is that our room was a little cramped and we could hear the bustle of the restaurant below in the morning. Otherwise, we were thoroughly charmed and plan to become loyal patrons!

Family friendly place? Not really. Rooms were okay. Towels were ratty and awful. With the newer section being deemed«no kids» felt like we were being penalized for having a toddler with us on vacation. Restaurant was just plain awful. Had family out to dinner(7 adults one toddler). No kids menu at family friendly hotel? They were out of several things on menu as well. Took them 3.5 hours to get dinner out to the only 7 people in the entire establishment that evening. Had to leave early with toddler after two hours of waiting. Food was not good for price paid. Will never stay, eat or recommend this place to anyone.

The good: Close to town. Comfortable beds. Very clean. There is a pool and jacuzzi outside, which appears to be open all night. Adults only. The bad: No coffee maker in room. The room setup is a but awkward. Had to turn the television to see it from the bed. The bathroom fan does not work.
