Ohiopyle Lodge

3 of us stayed here over fathers day weekend. ⁶⁄₂₀₁₅ we were in town for a kayak and biking trip.
My 63 year old father and 16 year old son. We stayed in cabin 1 which had 2 bedrooms and a pullout couch. Full kitchen and a nice sunroom.
The place was clean and smoke free.
It was plenty spacious for the 3 of us.
The price was right for the type of amenities we were looking for. The location was great as all the outfitters, restaurants and sights are well within walking distance. Once we parked the car on Thursday we either biked or walked everywhere.
The grill was nice and clean and large enough to cook a couple steaks corn and potatoes. There is also sufficient silverware plates and knives. pots and pans, etc…
Few cons. The picnic table out back is on a hill so you are always sitting on a slant. We could have turned it but didn’t put forth the effort. Also there is really no view as the house is directly behind the ohiopyle motel. You are sort of in an alleyway which is also somewhat of a pro. As there is very little traffic on the road when playing frisbee or catch.
Another slight con is there is only 2 chairs at the dinner table so we had to use a plastic outdoor chair.
All in all a very nice place and we would stay here again.
