I’m sure the Stylists are generally great at this salon, but I had a disappointing experience. Both my hair and my self were unprofessionally handled by one of the Stylists who should have known better. My profile photo shows what happened.
The Stylist didn’t seemed very concerned about customer service, and insisted that I «asked» to have my hair done this way. I asked for «symmetrical highlights around my face,» and none of my photos looked like this.
When I asked for a correction, she told me that she couldn’t do it, because she had another Client. She didn’t offer to make an appointment for a later time, but did accept $ 95.00 for this.
I don’t see how any professional Stylist could make a mistake like this.

I’ve been getting my hair cut at Contempo for almost a decade now, and I can’t recommend the place highly enough. The shop is very professional, well-​run and friendly, and the stylists are like family. I love the Aveda product line, and I always leave looking fantastic, though I don’t necessarily have the skills to replicate what master stylist Maggie Phelps does for me once I’m on my own, LOL. She does my color perfectly every time, and has evolved my hairstyle over time to keep me looking professional for my work — Bravo, Maggie and Contempo!

I got a great cut here from the owner. Nice haircuts always cost more than I can afford, but with short hair, anything but a good stylist can be a disaster. I had been searching for a couple of years for someone who would cut my hair the way I wanted and she did a great job. I didn’t give her much direction, but told her the style and attitude I wanted and she created a cut that was exactly what I’d hoped for.
