Enhanced – Day Spa & Boutique

My first visit to Enhanced was very pleasant. Summer is knowledgeable and willing to share that knowledge. The boutique is well-​stocked. The spa is beautifully decorated, clean, and organized. The photos posted don’t do it justice. I thoroughly enjoyed an infrared sauna session — my first! And, Summer’s clearly a pro at sugar hair removal. I am looking forward to my next visit!

Just the best. This is a place where you will be well taken care of. Summer has taken the the time to be educated about your well-​being. And she has taken that knowledge and reinvested it in you. For several years now, this is the best place in the whole valley for massage, facials, waxing, lashes, sauna, etc. This is why I’ve been a customer for years.

I would need enough room for a novel to express how much I am in love with this place and of course, Summer. I almost never take time to write a review good or bad but Summer’s worth! She was recommended to me by a local for the detox wrap which is amazing. Since then Summer has let me catch a glimpse of what appears to be an endless bag of magical tricks! I’ll never be able to decide which of her services I love most but if you need hair removal, you’ll realize you have not been living properly once you give the sugar removal a try. Everywhere. I don’t know how I’ve survived without it. I’m a major massage snob & I can recommend her for anything along those lines! Blows everyone else out of the water! I dare you to mention some bizarre ailment & not have her remedy it on the spot! Her lash extensions & technique… no other can hold a candle to it. Recently we’ve begun work on fascia. she knocks the hell out of a foam roller. The list honestly does not end! She’s so fabulous I can’t even scratch the surface of all of her capabilities. I would honestly be in that shop a minimum of 6 hours a day if I were independently wealthy. Thank God for Summer! Oh what a relief she is!!!

Had a Spa Party with my BFFs… a definite highlight of our girls getaway weekend! Look forward to coming back!!!

Summer is the most awesome lash artist in Ojai and possibly in the county. She makes my sparse short Asian lashes look full and curly. Comes with complimentary eye brow shaping so I always walk out looking pretty!!! i want to try a facial and massage next. She has the most comprehensive list of services. This girl does it all. But book fast cuz this mama is in high demand!!!

After searching a few places for a spa day, I received a response from Summer with an idea for a spa party. She would have a private spa party for my friends and I. Well that is just what the doctor ordered. While two of the girls were getting treatments, the other 3 were enjoying some wine and great food provided by the spa. Her and her team were very friendly. The facials, sugaring, foot scrub, back massage and back scrub were so delicious.
I will definitely drive the 1 ½ hours to enjoy some R&R at Summer’s Dawn.

This review is LONG over due. I was granted an amazing trip to Ojai for young adult caner patients. I took a friend with me who never gets pampered and would totally appreciate the trip. One of the gifts was given to us was for Summer Dawns 60 min full body massage.
Now I have had massages before and honestly I could never fully relax or enjoy it like most can. I feel trapped and uncomfortable and almost excited when its over. However here OMG best massage ever. My friend who is the same as me, she can’t fully relax with massages and never gets them. She was seem by the owner and I forget the girl that helped me but she was a younger girl. She made me feel totally comfortable. I’ve had services like this before with younger people and honestly I typically prefer someone my age or older. Young people can kinda be jerks sometimes hahaha but she was not at all. She made me feel super comfy and best massage ever. Oh wait I already said that. But instead of me looking forward to the strangers hands all in my fat, I was shocked when the time was up. It went by so fast.
We both left feeling soooooo relaxed and almost high lol
Oh and to top it off the owners daughter was there and the cutest damn thing. She was her little sales girl. It was just a very warm and comfortable healing environment. I pick up on energy as I am an energy worker and I felt so at peace here. If I ever come back down south Im making an appointment. I had a massage the other day and I was like «man now I need to go all the way down to Ojai for a massage, they ruined me for all others»

Having lived in LA for over 15 years, I had all my favorite trusted places there, so after moving to Ojai, I’d spend hours going out of my way to drive to LA just for a simple beauty treatment (waxing, facial, massage, etc.). With traffic, this could be an all day affair. And then I found Summers Dawn. Summer is incredible! Much better than any of the places I once trusted and spent hours to get to, here she is just 5 minutes away. She’s incredibly knowledgable and skilled. She’s also always learning the newest techniques and services. If you’re headed to Ojai for a retreat, head to Summers Dawn. If you’re a local, Summers Dawn is the go-​to place. She’s also got a great selection of items for purchase such as beauty supplies, candles, makeup, jewelry, and even the sweetest ever letterpress greeting cards from Ojai’s own Sugarcube Press!

What a treat! Seriously, I am so happy to find Summer’s Dawn. It has everything you need and then some when it comes to facials, massage, waxing, sugaring, cupping, air-​brush tanning, makeup, eyelash extensions, products… I scheduled my first appointment today for a waxing (I am mid-​thirties and never been waxed before… so a bit nervous) Upon entering you just slip into a super relaxed state of being, the energy is just beautiful in this place. Summer is welcoming, calming and knowledgeable. My first waxing experience was a breeze, not sure why I didn’t do it sooner! I’m back home now and already booking my next appointment… maybe a massage or maybe eyelash extensions?!? Cant wait to go back! Oh, and she has such wonderful stuff in her boutique! I picked up some very beautiful greeting cards and planning to get some products when I go back!

World class. I can’t say enough wonderful things about her — or how extremely talented she is. I shared my massage experience with the owner of the Ojai Retreat and he shook his head in agreement and concurred, «Summer is WONDERFUL.» My full review is under a listing by a similar name — but very much want this talented therapist to get her «due». Judging from her lovely studio — I think the «secret» of how good she is is already out!

I recently had been given for a birthday present a GC to use at Summer’s Dawn. I am so glad I spend my birthday there. Not only was Summer, the owner there, but she was so down to earth and friendly and informative. I was having a tough time articulating exactly what I was wanting/​needing and she just patiently helped me until we figured it out. I walked out there feeling like I was on a cloud and kinda dreaming. I am now a fan and addicted. I booked two more appointments and am giving away her GC’s to clients. Thank you Summer. It was one of the best birthday’s I have ever had and partly because of you.

I’m not sure which technique Summer used, but it saved me a lot of pain and a trip to the chiropractor! I woke up with an extremely tight and uncomfortable pain in my neck — I could hardly move my neck. But even in a short treatment time Summer relieved the pain and massaged intuitively at the source of the issue. Ahhh … what a relief! Thanks!

My boyfriend and I got the couples massage this past Saturday and it was everything I expected and then some! I wanted to surprise him with a massage (he’s only had 1 which wasn’t all that great) for V-​day. This was my first time getting a massage and I’ve got to say that Sandy did an amazing job. My boyfriend got his massage from Summer since she said that she could give him a stronger kind of massage for a man. He said that she was able to work most of the knots out. The atmosphere was relaxing, and they were extremely professional and friendly. We will definitely come back!!! Oh, and I’m not sure if this was a V-​day special or if she does this on the regular, but for an additional $ 20 we got wine at chocolate at the end of the massage. That was an added plus!

Summer is great! She finds what hurts and makes it better. If you need a great massage to make you feel like you’re floating on air… Summer’s your girl!!! Loved the hot stone treatment last time I was there. :)
