Frontier paint refused to serve me today. Walked in, said nothing just went to the counter and stood there with the paint card in my hand. He ignored me. SOmeone else came in, he waved him over ahead of me, served him on a few paints and showed him stock. That guy finished, still ignored me and was fussing with paperwork and cleaning up. Then another guy got served. Me still standing there — at the counter — saying nothing, sunglasses on and just patiently waiting to be served. I look like a normal family guy dad and wasn’t saying anything or doing anything to warrant a complete and intentional disrespect of my presence. Finally I walk out and as I open the door, he shouts, you can leave your paint card on the table and get it later. They were laughing. he wouldn’t even look at me. Ace just got all my business in the paint department.

The customer service here is very inconsistent. As a female homeowner who does not like Home Depot and does not always feel welcome at the contractors’ hangouts, these guys(except one who came up with a great stain color for me, hence three stars instead of one) were unfortunately among those who were NOT very welcoming and professional. Smiling and greeting a customer and offering to help them out is just a basic tenet of good customer service, but is unfortunately missing here for customers like me with small jobs who can easily take their business elsewhere, and will from now on.
