Alana, our teacher, was soothing and easy to follow.
Students were friendly, some were perhaps too relaxed;
be warned of snorers and loud breathers.
Good energy and spirit.

Was camping at Lake Casitas nearby and was in need of a workout. Took a class from Kira. Really great vibe in the place. Will return whenever staying in the area. Right downtown and the windows are striking. We had a sunset class and Kira opened the windows for natural sound and experience of the dusk. Learned a lot about everything from our left lung size to how to get your hips more open by using the air in your nostrils.

Came here for the first time on a visit to Ojai. This was my finance’s fist time ever doing yoga. The studio is in a house that was renovate into a studio. Was happy to find that the first class is free. Otherwise single drop in classes are $ 15, which I would have gladly paid (we all know that drop in classes in LA are $ 18 plus!). The studio is clean, with lots of lovely natural sunlight. They have mats to borrow, at no charge. They have every prop you could need– bolsters, blankets, blocks (wooden, cork and foam), bands, etc etc. The studio and the people are unpretentious and friendly.
The class we took was what I would call «gentle yoga» with an instructor in training. I liked her style and the class in general. I would be curious as to what their flow classes are like, as I didn’t break a sweat once in this class.
Would come back in a future trip to Ojai., but would probably call ahead to get a feel for what class was being offered. This was the perfect class for a beginner, such as the fiancé.
