This place was really good. I say«was,» because after being open for maybe 3 months, they mysteriously closed up. It was a little bizarre. No idea what happened, but it was very abrupt. They had an extensive menu that included my favorite Mexican meal — tacos al pastor. Also an excellent taco salad that came in a big, crispy tortilla bowl/shell and with a lot of delicious marinated chicken. We miss this place already!

Restaurant is closed. Was only open for 2 months. I sent a note to Unilocal but they take f-o-r-e-v-e-r to post updates. Landlord has a big FOR-LEASE sign in window.

We have been here twice now for dinner. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side. There is a bar that seats perhaps 10 people. Then there are a few tables and a few booths. So overall about 14 tables with an addition of 2 large party tables. The food is AMAZING. I tried the special that had one of everything(taco, enchilada, chile relleno, tamal and chalupa). It was only $ 11.99 for ALL of that AND rice and beans. It was DELICIOUS. My husband tried the Don burrito. He really liked it and liked the option of mixing steak and chicken in it. The 2nd time we went, I I tried the Texanas fajitas. BEST fajitas EVER. I had a ton to take home with me too. They were so delicious. Where else can you get steak, chicken, shrimp, chorizo and bacon fajitas for $ 11.99? My husband had the enchiladas verdes. He really liked them. My son had the burrito rancheros and enjoyed it as well. Usually he gets chimichangas at Mexican restaurants. This place has a lot more options than other Mexican restaurants. Check out the menu. You will have a hard time choosing because it all sounds sooooo good. And if all of this doesn’t make you want to try Norberto’s…they not only give you salsa and chips but they give you their homemade Mexican ranch sauce too. And it is WONDERFUL. I almost don’t want the salsa. Norberto is very friendly and so is the rest of the staff. I highly recommend trying this place. It will be our go to Mexican place from now on.

We stopped by for lunch because a favorite of ours Glenda’s café across the street closed early. I’m glad we did and thought prices were very reasonable and our food came out hot and tasty! Very good fresh chips and one tomato salsa and one creamy salsa arrived as we were just sitting down. The place offered Simple but nice surroundings with lots of booths and a dozen seat bar. I got the«tostaguac» for $ 4.99 with rice and beans. so I could try the all important guacamole. Nice and fresh and delish. Hubby enjoyed his combo of beef burrito and taco with rice for $ 5.75. We shall return !
