Budget Inn

This is bar far the most disgusting motel I have EVER stayed at, I booked through priceline and the add stated «newly renovated «it was anything but that. The floors in the restroom and shower were dirty and full ofnmold, they had a broken window that was left broken, just added another pane of glass over the shattered glass. They only cleaned the room twice out of the 4 days I was there, I had to ask for towels, as they did not replenish them. when I complained the owner lied and stated that we broke the window and that he provided me with rides to the hospital to visit someone. I had a rental car and went to meet my sister for the second time in my life, no one was in the hospital. There was also a constant smell. of marijuana and cigarettes at this motel. This place is not suitable for a dog to stay in. I am reporting them to the BBB and the health department. Do yourself a favor and don’t stay there.

I’m rating this hotel based on what it is, a cheap hotel. For a cheap hotel it was pretty fair. I needed a hotel on an emergency basis, with no time to do any research. As in, I was in a cab and had to tell him where to drop me. I didn’t want to pay a lot for one night so I asked him to just drop me here.
On the plus side, the staff was very nice and accommodating. The grounds were clean. The air conditioning worked better than in most upscale hotels with their new «green» a/​c that turns off when you go to bed and doesn’t go cool enough. This was a BIG plus for me. The room was mostly clean. There is a mini-​fridge.
On the down side, there was dirt on the sheets. They appeared clean and washed, but like something had been set on them and left grit behind. I had to shut the bathroom door because I could hear the neighboring room as clearly as if they were standing in my bathroom. But once I shut the door it was quiet. The toilet didn’t flush very well — it took two flushes usually, and sometimes continued running until I shook the handle. The fire alarm is ripped out. Maybe it was replaced somewhere else, but it was just missing from it’s original location. The phone kept cutting my calls off so I had to resort to my cell phone.
Overall though, it wasn’t a bad stay for a cheap hotel.
