Pier II Resort

We have held a number of business meetings at the Pier II Conference Center, both before and after their remodel. There were some snafus in the beginning but we always found the staff amenable. We love having our meetings there as the Conference Center is quite large with 3 small meeting rooms in the back. The restrooms there are spacious and there’s a great water filter for filling water bottles, too. We keep coming back also because the rooms are comfortable. Okay, it’s not the Waldorf Astoria, but we’re not paying luxury prices, either! And, some of our folks like to boat and/​or fish and they can launch right here. And, did I mention the great Bar at the Boat House? It is right on the water with not only great drinks but amazing views of the the huge birds that make their homes near by. It’s a great deal and we feel at home there.

Came here after calling the hotel where they verified the place was upgraded. Complete lie. After moving rooms due to a freon leak from a fridge we found Stained mattress, rooms smell, pool was extremely dirty and broken, absolutely no breakfast even though it’s advertised they have one, nats coming out of the sink, customer service was horrible, our room keys had to be replaced everyday, there is not a gym here, the wifi is very slow when it’s working, in the pictures and the hotel write up, the only microwave is in the lobby even though they say there is one in every room. Will never stay here again and don’t recommend it to anyone
