23rd Street Vapes

Came in for the first time yesterday to have them help me with a tank a friend had given me. They put the coil in my tank without priming it, and did not inform me clearly how to do so. (Juice coil BEFORE putting it in.) It messed up the coil and now tastes like cotton. I called the next day hoping for enthusiasm when explaining the situation, and they hardly seemed like they were going to help. The old «We’ll see what we can do.»
Good inventory but terrible customer service.

We wandered in on a whim — we were desperate to quit smoking and barring sometimes frightening pharmaceuticals, we’d tried it all. The owner, Jimmy Hendershot is the owner, and he spent a LOT of time and energy making sure we ended up with just what we needed to get started. I was immediately charmed by his knowledge and passion, but also by NOT going for that ridiculous over-​the-​top sale that would have ended up being way too much for first-​timers. We purchased two devices perfect for beginners and a few of the gazillion choices of flavors with no feeling of pressure sale. That alone would make me a loyal customer, and Jimmy’s warmth and generosity sealed the deal. We’ve been loyal customers ever since.
The shop offers a reward program with both a «frequent-​flyer» discount and a loyalty discount. He always has the latest, newest, biggest thing for those who just have to have it, and also plenty of devices that are a perfect fit for all types of customers. The shop is clean and inviting, with a coffee shop vibe for those content to hang out and shoot the breeze. Customer service is always wonderful, as Jimmy has taken on more staff since we started going there almost 1.5 years ago. No matter how busy they get, there is always personalized service and a genuine desire that the customer get what he or she wants — no more, no less. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone interested in starting vaping — it’s cleaner, much tastier and much easier on the wallet. With flavors like «Kiss of the Dragon» (with a dragon fruit base) to honeysuckle (my spring/​summer jam), you can try before buying and they are always custom-​made in the shop. So, kick that awful smoking habit and get on the vape train at 23^rd Street Vapes. And tell Jimmy I said «hi!»

I’ve been here before. As soon as I walked in my friend and I were asked to see our id’s. Which is PERFECTLY fine, but the owner of the store was just harassing me about my age and my id. Which has the under 18 date off the id. He even repeated back at me how old are you 19? 20? You only have to be 18 to purchase an item so I have no idea why he was being such a child about the situation. He then pulls out a calculator as if he couldn’t do the math himself. This place is joke. I was hesitant to leave but I wasn’t there for them. So unless you’re just going here for a quick stop I wouldn’t hangout here or become a regular.

Great staff. Very helpful. Nice selection. Definitely recommend! The guy has a few blends he mixes up that are really good! And pricing is as good or better than anywhere I’ve been. Even stays open later if he has things to do which I appreciate!

I apologize for coming in when you were busy surfing the web I would’ve love to try your juice since you say it’s the best juice on the planet and requires no sleeping. unfortunately you didn’t have time to help out a customer so I had to go down to vapor world and spend my $ 300 there. Maybe next time I’ll stop by when you’re less busy and maybe I can give you some of my cash but then again maybe not.

Stopped in for my first and only visit to purchase some organic cotton. They said it was 99 cents for one, or $ 5 for a sealed package of 5. Sealed package seemed like a good idea, so I asked for the package. When it rang up $ 6, I questioned it, and was rewarded with pissy angry attitude. Told the guy nevermind, and left. With 10³⁶ vape stores in OKC, I’d imagine that running off customers would be a bad move.
I love in this neighborhood and have for years. We don’t treat people like this here in Uptown.
