809 Sports Grill

Horrible!!! Ordered the jumbo shrimp and instead of 6 jumbo shrimp and crackers we received 8 tiny shrimp no crackers and the smell was horrible. Sent it back and server comped the shrimp and gave us another plate of it which wasn’t much better. The servers
both of them didn’t even know what steak was in the steak tacos and the corn tortilla were soaked with oil. And the chicken wrap had my stomach turning all night! Never going here again!

12÷10÷15 Back in the OKC again tonight and hit up the 809 again. Everything was still really good the Chili is still the absolute BOMB! Only opportunity tonight was the mashed potatoes were not very good. However, the rest was good. They also just started doing a happy hour special on wings as well.

Upon entering the bar with my friends, we were struck by the nice feel of the place. However, things turned south quickly. The restaurant was completely understaffed, as the waitress was in charge of all the tables in the restaurant, along with doing room service in the adjoining hotel. The waitress did her best, but the wait we had to endure was too much to bear. We waited over an hour between the time we ordered and the time we got our food.
The food was subpar as well, and definitely was not worth the wait. I had the Philly Cheese Steak, and it was $ 9 and it was not very good. My friend had the Cajun Shrimp Pasta ($ 17), and he said the quality was about the same as my $ 9 sandwich. Definitely would not recommend this place. We waited over an hour for just our check. It was completely ridiculous. Total time was almost 3 hours.

Great burger! excellent bartender. Very good drinks. Would come here to eat and drink even if I wasn’t staying at the hotel!

I wanted to give this place 5 stars. I have been here in the past and it was pretty great. I was seriously let down at this visit. I ordered a beer and my glass smelled like bleach. It was pretty unsettling.
I ordered the club sandwich and it was the saddest sandwich. I kept looking for the meat but it did not get the memo for the club meeting on my croissant. The honey mustard was delicious, but I didn’t order a honey mustard croissant. I also ordered a pecan brownie. They must have been out of pecans because it was just a brownie. They did however drown it in whip cream. It was covered… You couldn’t see the brownie for the whip cream.
The waiter was super nice and I am not a complainer so I just ate it, but I doubt I will be back. It is disappointing because the atmosphere is so calming especially for a hotel sports bar.

I stay here from time to time for work. Tonight I got the nachos w chicken ($ 11) and for that kind of price I was expecting real queso or melted shredded cheddar cheese. It was basically ball park nacho cheese. By the time It got to me, the chips were soggy. Do not recommend. Not worth it!

I live in the neighborhood across the street, the hubby and I went in there just to check it out on the fly. It was pretty nice for a hotel bar, the food was decent had the chicken and the drinks were well served.

It’s just ok. It’s a nicely adorned sports bar. Tap beer selection is limited to a few beers, nothing too exciting. Beer list includes all the basics for Oklahoma City (Shiner, Bud, Miller, etc.).
Chicken nachos were a disappointment. For $ 14, you’d expect something more than bag tortilla chips and a cheez-​wiz style cheese. Maybe their burgers are better?

Went there for a friends birthday party. Other than being clean, it was pretty much a flop. Wait. the staff was friendly as well but were kind of poor drink makers. Weak drinks. Over priced. Not really a comfy place to hang out. Kind of a lame environment. Is it a sports bar or a
bar… confused identity. The place closed super early as well.

Great atmosphere! Better Food! I had the Caesar Salad With Grilled Chicken. The Caesar dressing was amazing! Definitely a must try! You may not be «Wowed» but I’m very impressed.
The Staff is nice and my waitress never let my water run out (which is important to me).
I gave 5 stars for the fact I’m pleased and will make it a point to return once again.

Staff was great & atmosphere was nice. Food was not good. Nothing special at all. Wouldn’t come back.

Have been coming here ever since it opened. Severs remember you each time your in and I haven’t had a bad meal yet.

Good steak at decent price. Service was good say at the bar. Ordered the strip. It was served with a mushroom sauce over it. It was better than a 40 dollar steak I have recently had. The vegetables on the plate were also tasty. Overall it was a good meal for a decent price. Not sure I would go out of my way for it, but would recommend it.
