This is a super fun addition to Bricktown for Downtown in December and a good way to use the ballpark during the off season. The entrance for the snow tubing is located at the 1st base entrance(right across from the Sonic headquarters). When I went there were long lines but it all moved pretty quick since there is a kids ramp and a taller, faster ramp that has four lanes(usually 5 put one was broken down while I was there). Tickets are $ 12 per person for a 90-minute session. I was afraid the 90 minutes won’t be long enough but after going down multiple times and carrying the tubes back up all six of us were tired out and happy. As Fred L. mentioned in his review the time periods are fixed. You can find the times listed on the website for Downtown in December or you can call the ballpark. They sell hot chocolate and I believe a few snacks at the ballpark. We were too busy enjoying the snow tubing to stop and enjoy the hot chocolate but it looked good. A signed waiver is required before you can participate. You can either fill it out there or the form is located online and can be filled out beforehand. There are heat lamps located around the park. They are tall and so it is a little hard for the kiddos to enjoy the heat lamps. Maybe next year they can have some that are easier for the kids to use and warm up around. Although after carrying the tubes up everyone seemed to warm up anyway. I will be back next year to check out the snow tubing and enjoy again.

The snow tubes are set up on two ramps in the ball park. The ramps are built over the seating — there is a kids ramp with entry from the main level and a taller ramp with entry from the upper deck. Each ramp has 3 — 4 lanes. Once at the bottom you carry your tube back to the top. The height requirement is 48 inches — my 50″ tall daughter loves it but needed help carrying her tube to the top. You buy access to a two-hour block, but it is really 90 minutes. The time periods are fixed; a noon start, 2 pm, 4 pm, etc. The people are nice, the track is fast and the kids had fun. Be sure to bundle up with lots of layers!
