Maybe it’s because I’m used to amazing SoCal hipster coffee joints, but I wasn’t impressed with the selection or the taste of the coffee. I was impressed by the exact and scientific approach to a measured(to the GRAM!) and timed pour over. The environment is ripe for flannel, laptops and books, so atmospherically Elemental gets 5 stars. I had the coconut almond scone which was not overly sweet and I liked it. Nothing to write home about.

Long story short: my husband and I drives 50 min to OKC without breakfast and water, and parked 6 blocks away from the coffee shop at a 97 degree sunny noon. We crawled our way here dehydrated and demotivated. My husband got cold ice brew and a lunch meal. I saw the salt Chocolate chips cookies. Savory and sweet is exactly what I need. And I asked the Barista what she’d recommend for a light and unsweetened tea. She recommend green coconut. And they can do it hot/room temp/cold. I love the tea and the cookie. The lunch meal was huge and energized us. After the meal, I got kombucha — a fermented sour tea. The barista let me tried it first before paying for it. The restaurant made my day!

Great coffee. Terrible service. Literally every time I’ve gone the staff has made it feel as if my business was their burden. I thought it would get better the 5th/6th time but their employees are straight snobs.

It’s coffee used to be perfect. It’s nowhere near as good as it used to be. And one person who worked just stared at me angrily when I told her my name when she asked me for it! Overhyped and the vibe is gross. They need a reboot of quality and customer service.

Best coffee in Oklahoma City? I could make a solid argument for that. There’s a good reason this place is always packed, people.

The brunch is absolute perfection. Best I’ve had in a long time, flavors are on point and a beautiful mocha to top it off!

You may think to yourself, «a coffee by any other name would taste as delicious,» but you would be mistaken. Elemental coffee is smooth, velvety, aromatic and downright tasty in a latte. Plus they have food. Good food! Non-discriminant food for herbivores, bacon lovers, vegans, crossfit dudes, dairy dumpers and gluten fearing folks. Have your business meeting here and everyone is happy. Even Glenda, and Glenda hates everyone. THATSNOTALL! They have an app! They are technologically hip! They are from the future! THEFUTURE. They came back from the future to grace us with amazing coffee, accommodating food and large street facing windows. Thank you Elemental Coffee, thank you for everything.

I was lucky to find this gem in OKC and get some much needed work done. The coffee is definitely tasty and I really liked the large, open tables – a great place to work/hang out with a friend.

We had a delicious brunch at Elemental Coffee Roasters. We came in around 11:00 on a Sunday morning and there was just a short line at the counter. The place was crowded and lively, full of families and couples and people working on laptops. The atmosphere felt so welcoming, the whole shop flooded with natural light. We snagged one of the few remaining tables as we waited in line. Once at the counter, I ordered the French Toast of the Day, which was whole wheat toast, coconut, pineapple and pecans with maple syrup($ 8). You get your choice of fruit or potatoes, and I chose potatoes. My boyfriend ordered the Sweet Jesus, which is cauliflower, fried egg, sweet potato hash, tomato and cheese on grilled German rye, also served with potatoes($ 9). I also ordered an iced latte($ 4.25). Our meals were absolutely scrumptious. If we lived in OKC we’d be eating breakfast here every weekend. The coffee was also absolutely delicious. The baristas were very friendly and helpful. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Ho Lee Coooooooooooooooooooooooooow their coffee is really great! I didn’t know brewed coffee could have a velvety texture! I’ve never been so wired from a cup of coffee before. Get it black; you’ll never(go back*) want to add anything to it. Elemental will be my go to for out of towers when going for java. *I had to put this joke in there; I didn’t want to, but when typing I couldn’t resist.

I must be the only jerk in OKC that isn’t in love with elemental. First, I found the coffee menu a bit confusing. I wanted just a cup of coffee, not an americano, not an espresso, just a brewed cup of coffee. Well, it’s not exactly labeled like that. I also learned that when you want a cup like that, it’s a pour over.(Coffee grounds are put in a filter contraption over a cup, then hot water is poured over the grounds. It slowly drips out) I didn’t know, how could I know? This process takes a few minutes so if you are in a hurry, just keep that in mind. Then I got my coffee. I want cream and sweetner. So there is come carafe of white liquid that I understand is some sort of cream, but it isn’t labeled. Did I just use soy milk, coconut milk, 2%, heavy cream? I have no idea. Because I don’t want diabetes, I try to cut my sugar intake when I can. I usually opt for a sweetner for my coffee. I get that this is a more natural, hippie-keep-your-chemicals-away-from-me kind of place, but can ya help a sister out with some stevia at least? I also seemed confused in that I didn’t really see a food menu. There were items wrapped in foil by the counter. And salads were in a display case. However nothing was priced. After glancing around i spotted some Quiche. It was cheddar jalapeño. Served cold. It was good, but not very filling. A cup of coffee and quiche cost me $ 10 and some change. I must have gotten the confused, jerk service charge. I will give it to them, the coffee was good. It is roasted in house. The descriptions of the coffees sound inviting. So, adding some addional descriptions and signage would go a long way.

Okay, so I might be biased in this review, but after a hard week’s work across Oklahoma, I was SOHAPPY to be back in a place that had juice bars and frou-frou cafes!(Hey, I like what I like.) I came here because I saw it had fancy avocado toast, and boy did I want some. Thirteen dollars later, I sat down with a slight modification on the avocado toast(they kindly made it special for me, as apparently it isn’t an everyday offering) which was delicious although I had wished to try the watermelon radish on it. Alas. But no matter, because they ALSOHADKOMBUCHAONTAP. Yup. Miraculous! Tulsi mint, and it hit the spot. They even poured extra and gave my friend some, which I stole. :) And, because it had been a hard week’s work, I also had one of the fancy espressos. For one of a mere handful of times, I could actually smell and taste the notes they mentioned(in this case, grapefruit.) While I was waiting, I learned about Osmium on my table number card and basked in the glory of being in juice bar territory once again.

Great coffee and really good vibe. I was visiting from out of town and stumbled upon this place but would definitely hang out here if I lived nearby. Not too busy when I arrived but there was a steady crowd the entire time we were there. Quality coffee. I ordered a latte and you could tell that the baristas knew what they were doing and were passionate about it. The menu had a good variety of options. Would definitely suggest trying it out.

Disclaimer: Normally I’m a Starbucks addict. I know, I know… unfortunately I don’t get to live downtown near cool places like this. Starbucks is convenient, comfortable, and what I know and love. But I’m still open to trying out the local coffee places when I’m in the area, and I’m very glad I tried Elemental. I ordered a simple latte. I felt a little silly asking what their flavors are(and made it obvious that I’m too spoiled by Starbucks) because all they can do is mocha. Thankfully, the cashier wasn’t snobby, and politely informed me of the options. I wasn’t in the mood for mocha, so plain latte it is. Little did I realize that the latte needed NO flavoring at all! In fact, it would have taken away from the experience of enjoying such a wonderful drink. My taste buds had been saturated with sugary Starbucks goop for so long that drinking this latte wakened them up to the real meaning of coffee again! I was reminded of the beauty in simple things. It’s so much more than *just* a latte. I also had the C’est La Brie sandwich for lunch. It was a delicious combination of brie, ham, and jam. Between that, the coffee, and the urban atmosphere, it made for a nice little lunch. Prices were also reasonable. I look forward to coming back and trying more things off their menu!

Pros: Great coffee, delicious food, wonderful treats.(Holy cow! Salted chocolate chip cookie! Must have this again. Hubby went back for a second, and he is not a sweets guy.) Nice, modern, clean atmosphere. Love the rotating artwork. Cons: Both times that I have been here, I have felt like I was interrupting the cashier’s day by placing an order. Both times, I offered a friendly thank you to the baristas, and neither time was I acknowledged. Husband tried to communicate — with great difficulty — a very simple drink: three shots with one-half inch of steamed milk. Starbucks may not be the best coffee in the world, but they do know how to do custom drinks. «We can only draw two shots at a time.» The machine is limited to two shots — not a big deal. «Would you like your four shots in two cups?» Whuuuuut? He pointed out that there was a larger glass available. This conversation was significantly longer, and much more convoluted than I have noted. Suggestion to Elemental: hire friendly staff, or train your staff to be friendly, even if they don’t want to be. Pretentiousness is not cool. It is rude. Your shop would then be truly out of this world, because you have the best coffee in OKC, and the best physical building to enjoy said coffee.

This place is even more amazing than when I first visited! My first time around I was new to the serious coffee scene or the craft coffee, whatever you want to call it. So, I was a bit thrown off but still intrigued and impressed. This second visit, that was unexpected on the road trip just solidified Elemental as one of the best coffee spots you will visit. The staff is professional, friendly and willing to answer any question. And the salted chocolate chip cookie is one of the best things you will ever eat!

The ever elusive 5 stars goes to this spot for having great breakfast«sammiches,» yummy pastries, excellent service, and exquisite coffee! This place is a comfy coffeehouse with a laid back community vibe. Adding to that vibe are some local art pieces on the wall. There are also super tempting pastries in the front case, and the whole spot smells delightfully of coffee. I started off with the best macchiato I’ve ever had…, and I’ve had plenty. The espresso used was the perfect balance of bitter and chocolatey notes. My «Sweet Jesus» brunch sandwich was sloppy goodness on a plate. Who doesn’t love a good sloppy sandwich?! I would have never thought to stack caramelized cauliflower with mashed sweet potatoes, and a fried egg — but it totally works. My tastebuds were dancing. HUGE Shout Out to the waitstaff! They realized that they misplaced my husband’s & my order, so to compensate for the delay in our food being served, we were given complimentary pastry and coffee. Way cool ol’ skool business style to admit a mistake And offer a treat to keep customers happy. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and drinks. If I lived in OK City, I’d be sipping their delicious coffee daily.

Really great coffee and an excellent variety of drinks. Their Cold Brew Bitter Lemon is delicious and refreshing. Very well-balanced summer drink. They make their own baked goods and stuff too. The raw chocolate tart was too tasty — it’s a good thing they only had two left or I would’ve eaten them to the brink of self-loathing. Absolutely incredible. People behind the counter were laid back and friendly. I trust their recommendations. I bought beans to take back with me(out of state) and happily enjoyed the roast they suggested. Highly recommend this place.

Go for their coffee, stay for their food. Overall: I’m a fan. That’s all there is to it. I love everything about Elemental Coffee. They brew coffee like they mean it and offer breakfast and lunch menu items that will knock your socks off. I had grabbed breakfast on the go from Elemental a while back and remembered the breakfast wrap very fondly. So I hopped on Unilocal and discovered they serve lunch, too. I brought it back to the office and was completely blown away. To my delight their lunch items are as flavorful, dynamic, and outstanding as their breakfast options. I had C’ESTLABRIE with grilled ham, melty brie, and fig jam on toasted parmesan Big Sky white and honey bread. I also sampled the COSTANZA which is a turkey pastrami, sauerkraut, gruyer, with stone ground mustard on grilled Big Sky German rye bread. Last but not least, two of us shared the MADBEETS salad – it was killer. The salad dressing was divine. If you’re thinking of Elemental for coffee, don’t forget to think of them for breakfast and lunch, too.
