Our shoe repair store closed so I was in search of a new place. This is it! My husband needed a couple pair of ferraegamo’s re-soled, so I took one pair in and for them back. He was happy with them and now I’ve taken the other pairs.

I bought a pair of oxblood, wing-tipped Finsbury shoes in Paris in November. The shoes are not cheap and you can’t buy them in the States. I love these shoes and I proceeded to wear holes in both soles and abuse the leather(scuffs, salt stains, etc). I asked for the leather soles and the leather/rubber combo heel which were a little pricier than all rubber. I’ve worn them twice since picking them up 2 days ago, validating how much I like these shoes. It’s still early but, as of now, I could not be happier with the product. They look like new. I will be bringing them more work and recommending them to my colleagues and friends.

Javier does excellent work for a fair price. However, depending on the work required for your footwear it may take some time. For that, I deduct one star. My boots required to be redyed. After several attempts, Javier did not give up and I now have a sweet-looking pair of warm chocolate brown boots. I understand that he is one of the few shoe repair shops to dye leather. Whether it’s a gnarly motercycle jacket that needs some love or a worn pair of kicks. Javier is your man.
