To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. I cannot attest to the quality of Flint’s food but I give them one star for their service. Some girlfriends and I had tickets to see Kinky Boots at the Civic Center and had gotten to our reservation no later than 6:30. We ordered right away and told the waitress that we had to be at the theater at 8:00 and to make sure we didn’t order anything to prevent us from getting there on time. Needless to say when our food was MIA and it was 7:45 we had to ask for our food to go. We got no explanation as to the extensive wait or a discount on our food that we didn’t even get to enjoy. The poor waitress was at a loss and apologized numerous times. We were late to the show for waiting on our checks and yet the show was all worth it.

The restaurant is gorgeous but the food was just okay. We went for breakfast and the menu did not offer as many choices as we had hoped for. The service was great though.

Most delicious food I’ve ever had for brunch! We had the bison potato wedge appetizer, biscuits and gravy and French toast. Service was impeccable!

Food: 4⁄5 Service: 4⁄5 Cleanliness: 5⁄5 Décor & Style: 5⁄5 Big fan of this place, in terms of décor, ambience, the whole look. Love the outdoors and I wish we had more places like this. The food was pretty darn good, not perfect, but very good. Ordered the Brunch«Traditional Eggs Benedict Two Poached Eggs, Canadian Bacon on a Toasted Wolferman’s English Muffin, Hollandaise Sauce» with hush puppies. I’ve had better so I rate the food 4/5, however, this place is still pretty good. One of the best Patio’s in OKC! so 5⁄5 overall.

Matt and I ate here on Christmas Day, it was a great option. They had a prime rib special(Matt ordered), I got a salad and a turkey burger and we both enjoyed their spicy hush puppies. We were seated by the door which was awful because every time it opened we were freezing to death. The only downside to Flint is that it’s pricier than most. The food is very high quality and wonderful but we would go more often if it weren’t as expensive.

A-okay. 3.5 stars. The team would frequent this restaurant for lunches and dinners so it’s been thoroughly tested. Drinking was a popular appetizer for the dinners so I only ate salads(after a few beers, there isn’t room for anything else). The salad combinations are awesome. I highly recommend the Spinach and Pear salad. My colleagues often ordered steak and everybody was happy. Our first trip was a little odd. I ordered one salad, then somebody mentioned that Spinach/Pear was the way to go so I apologized and asked to change to «Spinach/Pear, dressing on the side.» I got a different salad with the Spinach/Pear dressing on it, so we’re working to fix this and I repeat«dressing on the side.» The waitress comes back looking as though she’s close to tears asking what dressing I’d like at which point I explain that any dressing is fine because I won’t eat it(I only say dressing on the side because people lose their minds when I say ‘no dressing’). My table is almost done eating and a manager comes out to ask me what dressing I would like, so I go through that again. My salad comes out with 3 different dressings on the side and the manager comes by at the end to ask if I got the dressing that I wanted. Much ado about nothing. Pull it together, guys. This sounds weird, but check out the bathroom(it’s in the hotel). It has Geode counters. The lobby hall is pretty awesome as well.

Disappointed in our first experience here. The food was cold, partly under-cooked, and our waitress was MIA. I think we saw her twice: once to take our order, and once to bring the check. The restaurant was empty. I’m not really sure what she was up to… The Good 1) The environment was nice — Good setup, clean, and a nice lookin’ spot for brunch. 2) We were seated quick, even though it was a Sunday morning. So there’s that. The Bad 1) We both ordered the eggs Benedict and they were both cold. We wanted to send it back to get warmed up, but the waitress didn’t come back for 15 minutes. We gave up. 2) My sweet potato side order was under-cooked. To the point that they were rock hard, and couldn’t eat them. 3) My cappuccino was essentially water — Not saying it was weak, but it was 99% water. I don’t think I would go back. There are too many great breakfast places around now, and I don’t think I’d waste a breakfast and go back.

Had a great time at Flint! My fiancé and I went to see The Nutcracker at the Civic Center on a Tuesday, and since Flint was so close and open late, we decided to try it for the first time. We were greeted by a friendly host who offered to seat us, but we preferred to sit at the bar and sat ourselves. Our bartender was Ryan, and he was great. He was very knowledgable about the entire menu, and was prompt and friendly all night. For our appetizer we had the chicken strips. Nothing spectacular, but tasty. We didn’t care for the peanut sauce. My fiancé had the pork-chop and oh my goodness! It was delicious! I don’t even like pork typically but it was incredible. I had the seafood pasta which was delicious, but nothing very special. The pork-chop was better. We finished with the brownie and their adult chocolate milk. Both were to die for! The restaurant was beautiful and the service was great. The food was tasty, but a little pricy for the quality. I’ll definitely get the pork-chop for myself next time. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be back.

If you’re in downtown OKC for brunch, Flint is definitely not a bad choice. It’s tucked inside the bottom floor of The Colcord, so perfect for any hotel-goers who want a nice bite to eat. If you’re just dining, take note that the valet is free for Flint diners. I used the valet expecting to pay, but nope! Free! Sweet. The ambiance is lovely – very modern and upscale without being obnoxiously so. Our waiter was very attentive and good at keeping the $ 2 pointsettias/mimosas coming! The cheap breakfasts drinks are definitely a plus. For brunch, the menu had plenty of options. For my first time there, I tried the shrimp and grits. They were good, but the grits were not very flavorful, so I’ll probably try something else next time. It was still very filling and satisfying for a brunch meal, though. I’d really like to come back for lunch or dinner and see what they cook up for those meals. But as far in the way of brunch, Flint delivers!

We spent a couple of hours walking our baby around the park across the street and stopped into flint for a bite to eat. I haven’t had such a bad experience at a restaurant in such a long time. We felt like the staff was judgey and rude. The hostess didn’t greet us, nor smile. She didn’t even seat us, another woman walked up and took us to our table. Our server was also super unfriendly, which was strange since she was upbeat with all of the surrounding tables. She asked if we wanted something to drink, I asked for a coffee and she replied ‘what kind?’… I wasn’t given a drink menu. When my boyfriend asked for the drink menu to see the beer list, she acted annoyed that she had to go and grab one. Well, if you knew what beers you had available, you wouldn’t have to go get the menu. Next, I asked what kind of meat was being featured on the charcuterie plate. Lol I don’t know if she just didn’t hear me but instead of answering my question she said ‘OK, I’LLPUTTHATINFORYOU’. I couldn’t even stop her because she walked away immediately. So my meal was a surprise. Luckily it was decent. The food menu is small, the food took forever, the service is horrible, and we basically paid for a disappointing, overpriced meal. Thanks flint. We won’t be back.

We had a Unilocal get together and I met a few Unilocalers that I’d messaged before and met some Unilocalers for the first time! I really enjoyed myself and made some new Freinds. I’ve been to Flint a few times and never had a bad or even mediocre experience. Arrived at 1100 for brunch and valet parking complimentary for Flint clientele was painless and fast. Arrived in the restaurant to be seated with eleven other Unilocalers and the menu was varied in both types of food and price point. I had classic eggs Benedict as I can’t wrap my vast cooking skills around this meal yet. I had a side of sweet potato. It was superb, English muffin should have been toasted but really not a big deal to me at all. Really enjoyed my meal but also saw cheese grits and jumbo shrimp which caught my eye and also steak and eggs which looked good. I had a couple of mimosas and coffee which were all great. Looked like A White Russian and cosmopolitan or two was enjoyed as well! Really typical Flint for me which rocked as usual, service was great and restrooms were modern and spotless. I’ll be back.

My new favorite patio in Oklahoma City is at Flint! We came this summer(a little late on my review, I know) and sat under a clear Oklahoma sky and split drinks and apps among ourselves.(Bonus: check in offer was good for a free app!) The waitstaff was exrememly friendly the chairs were comfortable, and the music was on «fleek»(am I using that correctly?) All in all, Flint was a lovely experience and I’m looking forward to coming back and spending another evening on the patio!

For me, visiting OKC, I come to Flint for a consistent experience. For rocks and the staff are always friendly. Consider it your favorite diner with upscale food, and staff. The Buffalo Chili rocks, it is lean, not to hot and full of flavor, so no guilt eating this. The decadence is the Chicken Bites, skinless chicken breast, cut into 4 strips, encrusted with awesome breading, fried in Truffle Oil, and dashed with little sea salt and Parmesan cheese My go to place, for a drink, food, good service, and close by to the hotels I stay at. Will be back…

I stayed at the Colcord and had breakfast at Flint. So, I figured it was time to get an updated review of this place on Unilocal, seeing as it was my first time to eat breakfast here. The menu is small, and it includes most standard breakfast fare: egg dishes, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, etc. I arrived around 8:45 on a Saturday morning and the place was nearly empty. There were more employees than diners, but as I ate several tables were sat. I was approached immediately by a server and had my drink within a minute. I decided to go with the Farmer’s breakfast, which includes 2 biscuits with gravy, 2 eggs, and your choice of meat. It also includes a few breakfast potatoes, which I did not know when I ordered. Wanting to try the breakfast potatoes, I ordered a side. When I saw some on the plate I was annoyed that the server didn’t advise me when I ordered the side that the breakfast came with a few. It was $ 3 to add them, but the point isn’t the money, it’s that I should have been told. Anyway, the food arrived after about 10 minutes and it was hot. Clearly freshly made. They pour the gravy over the top of the biscuits, which is not my preferred gravy delivery system. I would rather break the biscuits in half, then smother. But, these biscuits were fluffy and tender, very easy to cut but not mushy. The gravy was fantastic, peppery and full of sausage chunks. It was just the right consistency and seasoned perfectly. It was one of the stronger gravies I’ve had recently. I would absolutely return just to get biscuits and gravy. The eggs were fine, scrambled well and fluffy. The sausage is typical link sausage, but they are thicker links. Cooked well, they got a nice sear but didn’t overcook them. They remained juicy. The potatoes were bad. Just bad. Not seasoned enough, and even though they were fried, they had no crunch to them. Looking at them you would expect some crunch, but biting into them it was just mushy potato. The fact that I paid $ 3 for the privilege of trying this subpar dish made it all the more annoying. The Farmer’s breakfast is $ 12, and I think it’s well worth that, especially considering you are in the nicest hotel in downtown OKC(sorry, Skirvin). I would return to get this breakfast, but ask that they leave off the potatoes…

I’ve been here for dinner once before, and it was awesome. But what has really sealed the deal for me is the patio. Cocktails in the evening on the patio. I got the pomegranate punch and the silver shandy. The pomegranate punch tasted like pink lemonade and could probably be very dangerous if you have too many. The silver shandy was simply delightful. Very light and crisp and summery. Perfect for those 80 degree evenings.

Flint is located in the bottom of the colcord. I almost always just get the salmon that comes with the side salad. It is decent but in my opinion there is not really anything special about this place and the food is just sort of blah and overpriced. They do what they do well, it’s just not that special. This place is more of a business luncheon place. I have heard the brunch food is good, but I have not ever been. I need to try it someday.

We loved our dinner here. We were meeting my sister’s boyfriend’s family for the first time. We sat right by the entrance with a good view of the street outside. The vibe inside was nice, but casual which made for a perfect meeting spot. We ordered a lot, but the standouts were the pisco cocktail, mac and cheese, sea salt ice cream and the spinach side with the chicken dish. The Colcord hotel is historic. The lobby and lobby bsthroom are beautiful. It sounds weird to suggest, but be sure to check out the lobby and bathroom after dining.

We went here for brunch on Mother’s Day, not realizing that it was Mother’s Day. The brunch that we had was amazing. There were three of us that went out for brunch and we all tried each other’s meals. We asked our waitress, who was awesome, what her recommendations were. She recommended the BLT, French toast, and the eggs Benedict. I had the BLT which is the best BLT I have had in the area, the bacon was thick cut like a steak. I swapped half of my BLT for half of my friends Eggs Benedict. The Eggs Benedict was just ok. My BF had the French toast, the bread was very thick cut like the bacon. The French toast was good and hit the spot for the sweet breakfast. One of the best things about going to Flint on this Sunday was the $ 1.99 mimosa. As stated before the service was excellent. The only reason that I’m giving this place a 4 star is because we had to sit outside because of all the reservations that had been made for Mother’s Day. Though there were many empty tables inside they said they did not have any tables available. However, sitting outside was not bad it was a nice day beyond it being a little windy. As for the rest of the menu the verdict is still out, since we have only been for brunch.

I stay at the Colcord quite often, and every time I do, I’m glad to have Flint on the first floor. I’ve been to Flint in many different circumstances… for late night drinks, for an early weekday breakfast, and I’ve also had their food from room service many times as well. I’ve figured out that breakfast is definitely my favorite time at this swanky hotel spot. Flint is a really beautiful restaurant… lots of gorgeous wood, cool patterns on the ceilings, and a ton of natural light make this place so classy. At night they have a ton of fireplaces going, and it creates a super sultry vibe that’s hard to resist. If you’re staying at the hotel, don’t hesitate to go down for a glass of wine and a cheese plate… you’ll be glad you did. The last time I had room service I had the the 8 oz filet with potatoes and broccolini, which was really wonderful. The vine ripe tomato salad is also one of my favorites, and is made with avocado, fresh mozzarella, smoked sea salt, basil, and sherry vinaigrette. Pair it with a glass of the house cab and you’re on your way to a great evening. For breakfast, you can’t lose with a cup of coffee and the eggs benedict. The hollandaise sauce is so wonderful, and it’s my favorite item on the menu. It makes a great place to work on your laptop and get your morning started, and the staff never gives me trouble for taking up a booth for a few hours while I get some work done. As an out-of-towner, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate having Flint at the Colcord. Keep doing what you’re doing, guys.
