So glad a bookstore in the OKC metro area still exists! So much better than buying on Amazon! Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Store is large, cozy, and inviting. I can walk to the counter, ask for a book, and be checking out in less than 10. Love it.

Great place to study. Beautiful, warm and cozy atmosphere. It got very lively at lunch. The food is terrific. The staff is friendly and kind. I spent the day reading, doing schoolwork, drinking coffee, had lunch and talked with friendly locals. I highly recommend this place.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while so I decided to come here. The place has a simple yet cozy interior, equipped with a lot of amenities for a more convenient reading, something like a typical bookstore but it feels more homey and warm inside. They had a huge collection of books and even a bookshelf dedicated to Tolkien. The staff was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. You can also get a wine and a food while reading books here.

I have been in a few times and they didn’t have what I was looking for. They went out of their way to look for the books and order them for me plus they immediately called me to let me know when they got in. The customer service is amazing here, not to mention the book store is beautiful.

This place is my idea of heaven. It’s set up like a library with several little rooms and fireplaces and benches. The collection of books is extensive and truly wonderful. Such a good poetry and literature section. Including lots of local authors. There’s a café and outlets and wifi which makes it the perfect place to study. When I walked in, there was an author giving a talk about her books. Then a group of local publishers met up to discuss what is popular in YA. This is the place to be for anyone who like books.

This is everything you want in a bookstore: ladders, cozy rooms, several fireplaces, many comfy chairs and couches, a café with local beer and coffee, outdoor patio, hip people, great staff, books from local authors, and live music on the weekends!

From their events to their casual reading rooms and bakery — I love coming here. They make me feel like I have my own private reading room, and the circular structure in the middle lends itself to my child-like imagination taking me back to when I was small. I love that they cater to local indie authors, and have fun events to support them. PLEASE go support them as they are a dying breed in this digita and big box store age.

Any place I can get wine and read next to a fire is a win in my books. Also the rolling ladders are such a great touch. The staff is super friendly. I look forward to going back soon.

If you can’t find it at Full Circle you don’t need it. It is also a nice place to have a small cozy meeting.

I went to Full Circle on Friday afternoon to meet a business associate. I was so pleasantly surprised to see this charming little gem. With books from local authors and Native American history to the newest political or biblical biography… paired alongside the fireplaces and beautiful café you can’t beat it

The best study spot in OKC. It’s such a whimsical bookstore that is beautifully decorated, books from ceiling to floor, and those old fashioned ladders you can climb to reach the top ones. There is a yummy café, plenty of seating, and multiple fireplaces too. The kids area is simply delightful, and there is free wifi! You can’t visit here and not be in a good mood when you leave!

Whether you are in need of a good book recommendation, a place to just chill, an evening of relaxation with potential live entertainment, Full Circle has it all. It’s staff, avid readers themselves, are extremely knowledgeable. I have enjoyed reading the books they have recommended, and they never failed to point me in the right direction. They may not carry every oolong under the sun, but they very efficient in procuring any book you want in a very timely manner, and often at very competitive prices. With regards to ambience, I think it is definitely a serene place. There are little corners all over where one can tuck away and read comfirtably. I deal for fall and winter when you want a cozy cove equipped with fire place and good coffee. They held regular performances here featuring local authors, musicians and other talents. Definitely worth the visit.

Such a gem in Oklahoma City! Came here with a friend and had an enjoyable time browsing and discussing books with the staff, who were incredibly friendly and kind. I could’ve spent hours in here. The tall bookshelves, rolling ladders, inviting plush chairs, and unique art made this place feel much more homey than your average Barnes&Noble. And oh my god — they had an entire bookshelf dedicated to Tolkien! If I could give this place six stars I would. I only regret not getting some coffee and staying the entire afternoon. Book lovers, this place is a must!

An Experience to be Savored like a Literary Time Machine Full Circle represents a rare commodity: an independent bookstore that serves as a unique community gathering space. I am a loyal customer and member of the community who regularly meets friends and colleagues there for coffee, or a glass of wine, and a thoughtful conversation surrounded by the reassuring walls of beautiful books. I also attend readings and musical performances, each with a unique voice rising in a space where diversity of thought is clearly celebrated. It was in a store like this with ladders leading to the higher shelves that I first fell in love with books and reading and dreamed of being a writer. It was in a store like this that I first felt the quickening of an inspired first paragraph that pulled me into a story that transformed the way I experienced my life and the people I know and love. Full Circle is a treasure in OKC, one that has earned our loyalty and support. There is something magical and transcendent for everyone there — young or old — that opens your mind and heart to what really matters most in this life, a place where you can open a page then turn to a dear friend and whisper, «Hey, listen to this…»

I had not been in Fullcircle Book Store in ages. I did not remember it being so quaint. I wandered around evert nook and cranny and yet no one asked me if I needed any help. THAT was kind of odd. There was one disengaged employee behind the counter and two talkative staff in café area. I think the store needs a roadmap if the staff is not going to help. Otherwise, a nice place.

I love taking my son to Full Circle. He doesn’t come here often, as he is only 22 months old, but I take him occasionally to buy him Spot books and for him to play with the amazing train set in the children’s area. This bookstore has a unique layout with many great book selections, and ladders for anyone to grab hard to reach books. The workers are super friendly, and there’s a nice café inside for coffee and a light snack/meal. Full Circle also offers a great rewards program where each time you buy a book, you get a stamp on a special card. When the card is filled out, 30 dollars gets deducted from your next purchase. Roughly, one would have to spend a little over 200 dollars to fill out the entire card with stamps. Lovely bookstore located across from Penn Square Mall.

Supposedly, «A room without books is like a body without a soul.» So if Full Circle Bookstore had a body, he(or she) would have a lot of soul. You know that scene from ‘Beauty and the Beast’ when the Beast shows Belle his library for the first time? Anyone? Anyone? That. That is how I felt the first time I walked into Full Circle. Okay, maybe not so Disney princess-esque. But you know that feeling. It’s best described as your brain going, «Ohhhhhhhhh yissssss this is going to be fun!» I hope I feel like this forever. Forever. Forever, ever. Forever, ever? I am, have been, and no doubt always will be a book geek. I was the kid who got in trouble with the parents for staying up reading at 3:00 a.m. with a flashlight and a blanket over the head. Then I grew up… And while I don’t have as much time as I would prefer, I still try to read as many books as possible. I can appreciate how Full Circle provides the perfect atmosphere to make you want to do just that: Read. And never leave. The smell of the books, or the rolling ladders that nearly go the ceilings, or the walls and walls of books, or the complimentary coffee, or the excitement of finding a cozy corner to be left alone to your imaginations. These are the unique qualities that separate Full Circle from Barnes & Noble, or Borders(rest in peace). Lest we forget, the Garden Café has some scrumptious sustenance, but if you want a meal you best come during the day. In the evening, all they have available are pastries and such. They also have some excellent customer service(where they check on you often enough to make you feel cared for but not so often that you’re annoyed). I have found the prices to be fairly reasonable; comparable to other book stores. All of the aforementioned elements help to strengthen the warm fuzzies that I have for Full Circle. If anyone bad mouths Full Circle, you should assume they’re illiterate. Only someone who can’t read would be offended by this place.

Bookworms, rejoice! Full Circle is a wonderful indie bookstore nestled in the heart of consumer central in OKC. It’s everything you would want in a bookstore — wide selection, cozy fireplaces, great café(wine included!), and welcoming staff. If they don’t have the book you want/need, then they will special order it for you, hassle-free. I have ordered books for work through FC, and they were wonderful to work with. I will say that it’s great that they have so many events going on, but my experience was been they need just a wee bit more organization. I help organize a women’s social group, where one of our components is Book club. We’ve met at FC a few times, and while we called in advance to schedule the time, the staff had no clue we had an event on the day of. This has happened multiple times, which is a little frustrating. To their credit, however, it didn’t stop the staff from accommodating us on a moment’s notice to ensure that we had chair space and felt welcomed. It just would have been easier for everyone all around if our event had been on the calendar as promised. FC is definitely worth a few trips to, at the very least. I’d go here any day over Barnes and Noble.

Remember when Borders, Barnes & Noble, and Books-a-Million(a southeast regional chain) were opening six stores a day, undercutting independent booksellers and destroying the fabric of American literary civilization as we know it? Well it turns out Amazon deployed this new software called«Amazon Karma”* that showed just how quickly a business model transitions from dominating to dominated. Borders went bankrupt in 2011, Books-a-Million stock is trading at about 87% below its 2009 peak, and Barnes & Noble not only isn’t profitable, but insists on competing directly with Amazon using inferior technology. But a funny thing happened last year in the face of this metaphorical conflagration: The number of independent booksellers is actually increasing after years of decline. It turns out there is a market for folks who want the personal touch, recommendations, atmosphere and discovery that only the independents can provide, and Full Circle is one of the spots that is doing it right. The atmosphere and décor are a precisely calibrated balance between«serious bookshop guarded by Gringotts goblins» and welcoming, the staff we interacted with were quite friendly, and I have to believe that hearing and seeing a slightly off-key and probably inebriated musician perform an acoustic cover of Anna Nalick’s «Breathe» late one night at Full Circle is one of the strangest things I’ll experience this year. I digress(a lot). Full Circle is the essence of independent bookstores, and well worth a trip. Especially in the winter. * My trademark, patent pending.
