My suggestion is to order off the menu — the place is usually pretty empty so the buffet food sits there for who knows how long.

After moving back to okc, I’ve been looking for my go to Indian restaurant. This is definitely it. The buffet was awesome and $ 9.95. The staff was all super nice. I enjoyed all of it. Excited to go back.

So glad to have another Indian restaurant near home. My Sunday cravings for Spicy Chicken Tikka Masala are answered!!! Tip: make sure if you want it spicy that you are extra clear. They will try to spare you in case you’re unaware of just how spicy they are capable of making it.

I went to the Memorial Ave branch. The food deserves a 5⁄5 but… THEREWASNOFOOD… The buffet was empty ALL the time. I waited a good 35 minutes and the chicken tandoori, chicken kababs and naan buffet servings remained empty. This was a Saturday night at their prime turnover time. What type of rediculous kitchen do they have to keep people waiting that long. Then the waiters were moving around with sampler platters of these items serving small potions to each customer who wanted any. REALLY !! To be honest, the waiters and waitresses are doing their best, but the cheap policy of the place stands ojt more than anything. Definitely not coming back.

So much better food than the now neglected 23rd Street location! Love the India Top 40 music, too!

Wonderful Indian food on the city’s north side? Yes please! Gopuram was the only Indian food game in town for years, and I’m so glad they’ve brought their excellent, fresh, affordable cuisine to this part of town. Saturn Grill used to be here, and it works really well for the buffet on one side of the restaurant and all-booth seating on the other. We came for the lunch buffet yesterday, albeit a bit after the real lunch hour. They were still taking great care to stock the buffet, and brought around piping hot, fresh naan every five minutes or so. My favorites were the vegetable korma and the chicken tikka masala. The okra was also very good, as was the catfish. All the food was perfectly seasoned, not too spicy for me(or my mom, who was with us), but plenty spicy and flavorful for Kasey. The restaurant is spotless, everything on the buffet was very fresh and had clearly not been out very long. The service was perfect — so friendly and attentive, and we loved the atmosphere. We had the baby with us, and the music was just perfect for keeping her asleep! They gave us a great booth that left plenty of room for her stroller and kept us out of anyone else’s way. Bonus points for a big changing table in the ladies’ room.

I am not a huge fan on Indian food but I was completely surprised by this offering! Incredible service, great flavors, and good price. I am very happy with my stumbling onto this place! I encourage all my friends to try it out too!

Best indian restaurant in oklahoma city area. We tried himalayas, mt everest, manna, and ajanta. This is by far the best. Great customer service. Chicken 65, chicken tikka Masala and naan are great! They serve fresh food, unlike the questionable food at some of the other places.

I am generally not a fan of Indian buffets. However this place is the exception. We were on the north side of town and were hungry. Our timing was perfect. All the food was fresh and the spice was perfect. The restaurant was clean and the staff was wonderful. I know where I’ll eat next time I’m up this way

We gave this place a second shot last weekend. The staff was super nice… I felt bad for my initial review. I was super annoyed at the time. So much so that I downloaded Unilocal in the parking lot to write my initial review.(Which was my first online review of anything). The buffet is small but we were satisfied with the variety. They pick up trays and walk around the restaurant offering diners samplings. I thought this was great… until I went to the buffet for Naan. Twice. It was gone. I love naan. Naan is why I had a hankerin’ to revisit the restaurant. No naan in site. Once I just had bad timing as the staff was walking around with it.(Hubby didn’t get me any. Arggggh.) And the other time, they were just out. I could see the buffet from my seat and looked that way a few times. No naan. I don’t know how long it takes to make but i left with a naan deficiency and lukewarm feelings because of it. NAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNN!!!

It was today at the lunch hour, and my wife had me go to give this place a try. Entering, I was greeted by this man who looked me over up and down like I was strange wearing sweat pant and athletic shoes. Sure, I was. My bike was in the car and I was going to ride off this meal at Hefner trails. He seated me in a booth and asked, «Some Naan bread?» No, thanks, just water.” As he turned away, another waiter was right there with water and some Naan. «No Naan,» I said. «Are you sure?» «Not today,» I said. At the serving line, almost everything is in some kind of sauce, nearly. There was no tandoori chicken. A worker said that it was in the oven and that he would bring some to my table. I scooped up some vegetables in a sauce. One sign above said lamb. Another said chicken, and so on. No lamb for me. They are too cute. No goat, either. Lambs and goats are eaten in India, not cows. Do they still believe that cows are their ancestors? I didn’t ask. I took the vegetables to the table, and this waiter arrived with two pieces of tandoori chicken. It was really good, but the strange thing was that the pieces weren’t recognizable. It was if they were hacked up by someone looking in another direction, And another thing: the meat wasn’t as thick as normally, like some had been shaved off before cooking. Another waiter came. He had a plate with some slices of Naan. «No, thanks,» I said. «You don’t like Naan?» he questioned. «I love it, but it puts it on me around the middle.» «Umm,» he said looking at me in the middle. I went to the line and got some more sauced things. I don’t know what to call them. I can’t pronounce anything that starts with TJ. I just learned SZECHUAN. My take on this place is that the stuff is overall pretty darn good. But why are they so heavy with the Naan offerings? Okay, what do you think. It’s a buffet. Eat more Naan than food.

This was newly opened, my husband was so excited about going, talking about the big pancake balls in syrup… We went at 2:30 pm an in-between time and we’re the only customers. Some of the foods you could tell were sitting a while on the buffet, and a few weren’t at temp. Once we sat down however they brought us out piping hot foods to try such as fish, fresh made Naan and more vegetables. That made the experience turn for the better. BTW the pancake balls in syrup were smaller than the other Goporum restaurant in OKC. As time goes, on and they increase customers it should be a 4 star restaurant.

This is a new location for this restaurant. The buffet is larger than other Indian places in town so you get to taste a variety of dishes even if you never had Indian food before. It is not too spicy and it is very delicious. The bUffet is offered during the weekend too unlike other places. Definitely will come back

Great new location! Believe it or not, I’ve never been to their 23rd street restaurant. Despite the fact that I literally live one mile from it, I’ve only ever had Gopuram at events and never in house. Anyway, I visited the new location while in the area and was very impressed! I ordered the buffet to go for lunch and the hostess was so helpful. She even wrapped up some naan in foil for me while I was gathering my other items. I love how large their selection is. I pretty much tried all of the entrees and really liked them. The mushroom soup was very good too which surprised me! I typically wouldn’t think of a dish like this with Indian food, but I was really glad to try it. I think you’ll like all of their dishes if you are used to Indian food, and even if you’re not, it’s a great intro! This is a convenient location and offers a little something different for the area.
