I have always liked this place, but lately they have gone to a $ 15 minimum for deliveries. It unfortunate since I can barely eat all of what I do order in one setting. It’s not a big thing, but I do wish they had stuck with the standard $ 10 minimum most places have.

Happy House has really good fried dumplings. Their egg rolls are not good and very small. I have had several other dishes and they are ok. Not a fan of their fried rice.

I love this place! Usually go to china house but they closed early the night I wanted Chinese food. I was surprisingly pleased!!! The beef lo mien and egg rolls were amazing to say the least! My husband ordered sweet and sour chicken which he loved too! The staff are also very pleasant and courteous. This is my new favorite place! It’s a little outdated but I could care less. Good food and service are hard to come by. I will definitely order here again!

UnHappy House of Horrors. My experience was QUITE disappointing. I went there for an order to go. I ordered Lo Mein and some Spicy Hunan beef with vegetables, along with eggrolls. I asked for some sweet-n-sour for the dinner. They actually charged me for the sauce! That was a first from ANY chinese restaurant. The Lo Mein was made with wheat spaghetti noodles! That was another first. The spicy Hunan was as spicy as jello. I ordered both meals EXTRA spicy and they were both bland. Not to mention the noodles. The eggroll was made several days prior and had more than one wrapper, fried to cardboard consistency. To top it off, the sauce they charged me for wasn’t even in the bag! I would give ½ Star because they did give me my change!

A little pricey for takeout in my opinion, however the food was hot, prepared well, and delivered quickly. I was impressed with the hot and sour soup, it was the best I’ve tried in Oklahoma.

Ordered a large meal to feed a family of 5. The women behind the counter were very nice and even threw in extra crab rangoons because our order took 15 min. instead of the 8 – 10 min they suggested. But once we got home, we were so disappointed… The meat and veggies tasted chemical-ish and the rice was not good. My daughter said the lo-mein tasted like cardboard. So we tried to douse the food in the sweet & sour sauce they gave us, but even the sauce was not good. I was so disappointed. We haven’t had Chinese food in a long time and we were looking forward to it very much. I have only ate here this one time so I am not sure if this is standard, or an off night. But I can tell you, we will be looking for another Chinese restaurant to call our favorite. :(

Probably one of the worse experiences we have ever had with a Chinese restaurant. After a busy day we just wanted to order something that could be delivered, anything but pizza that is! We ordered 3 dinners at 6pm, and after my husband confirmed that they indeed had our address correct they told us it would be about 45 minutes. Well, an hour came and went, so we called again and they said they were on the way… At 7:30 and after three phone calls to them to make sure they knew how to get to our house(which is literally 3 miles down 12th street from them) they finally showed up with cold, food that is the worst Chinese food I had ever had. I guess we should have known that customer service is never a Chinese restaurant’s best asset. ;-(

If you judge this place based on appearances, you’ll miss out. I’ve avoided this place for almost a year until someone told me how good they are. ‘Close your eyes and just eat’ they said. I braced myself as I walked in the door and placed my order with the cashier guy on the phone. I ordered General Tao chicken combo, which came with roast pork fried rice and an egg roll for $ 7.25. My order was ready in about 7 minutes and I took it home. It took a total of 5 minutes to get home, grab a fork, and have a seat. When I opened my container, the food was still piping hot. The food was very tasty and I was STUFFED when I finished it all. Needless to say, I will be back at Happy House again!

Meal was great, don’t let the environment fool you. Not the nicest looking place. But good food. Sesame chicken and egg roll.

This place was recommended by our hotel and we were not disappointed. Even the phone call to order was a pleasant experience. The food was delivered within 25 minutes instead of the 35 minutes stated. The food was extradinarily hot! The rangoons were good. Ordered sweet and sour chicken. The sauce was separate and we loved it. The chicken were small one inch pieces. They were so good that we didn’t want to eat them with the sauce. They were not over breaded and perfectly sized. Loved it! The general Tao was good, too. Small bites and tasty sauce. The egg rolls were smaller than we are used to, but were good. The rice does not appear to be that good, but once you start eating it, it was good. I’m just not too fond of the peas, though. Personal preference.

My only experience with this shop had been take-out at a mid-town friend’s apartment(thanks to their menu stating«WEDELIVERY» — cute). Ran in the other day for quick take-out(certainly not much space to dine in). VERY friendly and speedy service; the kind that makes me sad to give a sub-par review. However, it’s all about the food(especially for a restaurant that specializes in take-out and delivery). The items I selected(sichwan chicken, hot and sour soup, and egg roll) tasted VERY pre-fab. The soup wasn’t bad, but suffered from a gravy-like consistency. The egg roll was generic, and the chicken dish stayed with me WAY too long. Chances are that I’ll order here again, but the opportunity is certainly there for Asian competition downtown.
