Hawaiian Don’s

OK I been going here for 13 years or more. The big light skin security guard is an Asshole ! He shined his light in my face cussing me out saying it was time to go and other women black ones was still drinking he said nothing to them! And he doesn’t check all IDs either only certain people I watchthings. He is biased and very rude to the customers and he has run a lot of customers away I have been told a lot of people that they will not go back because of him and he’s been a long time and he’s been a dick head for a long time and then getting away with it and I’m putting a bad review about him and Hawaiian Don should fire him because he’s not a good person and he was running their customers away and causing more fights there in probably shootings because of him because he has a mouth on him and he cusses people out and he threaten me outside plus I’m going to report that they over served too much alcohol in that place there’s some people that have drink so much that they were someone outside couldn’t even walk and then come back in and they serve them more alcohol they’re going to get in trouble for that and they really need to watch it because there was somebody on the street that night after leaving there and they killed somebody in a hit and run also I have been told by other women that men come in there and put stuff in your drink to take you home and have sex with you basically that’s rape my Hawaiian Don and his son are very nice the staff is very nice that the bouncers or the security guard the big tall fat one he is a complete jerk and he needs to be fired and if they keep him there he’s just going to run off more customers for him you have no idea how many people have told told me they can’t stand that guy I’m not going back because of him or else I’ll get in a fight he’s just a security guard he’s not that damn police he needs to quit taking his position so damn serious I realize that he’s a security guard and he needs to respect people and quit being disrespectful because shining the light in someone’s face yelling at me it’s time to go and yanks my drink away from me but everybody else is sitting down drinking a drink all the black people and minorities that I’m white sitting there drinking my drink and I’m not racist because my boyfriend is black so don’t even go there! Hawaiian Don you need to get rid of him because he’s running your Customers off and you know he is! He talks shit about you behind your back I hear him he’s no good!!! Get rid of the bastard and I will change my review to a good one!

I like big drinks and I can not lie, you other people can not deny, that when a round drink is in your face, you get sprung!
Don’s is smokey, it is crowded, the people can sometimes be suspect, but they have a great staff and big drinks to make you forget about all the rest of the bad. I really wish they would bring back Karaōke, so I could get my drunk sing on. Everyone should go at least once and marvel in how liquor is poured into a fish bowl type glass.

I’ve never left this place sober but I’m not a huge fan of the patrons. Their huge drinks are priced well and are all super strong. Like I said, I’ve never left this place sober and that is saying a lot.

I have seen two sides of Hawaiian Dons. The first time I went, it was during happy hour on a typical weekday. Me and my friends went for some fishbowl drinks and they did not disappoint. My first experience I gave it a 4. Cheap beer and massive fishbowl drinks = good times for all.
The second time I went to Hawaiian Dons, it was a saturday night. My friends and I decided to stop by for some drinks before we went clubbing. Let’s just say the crowd was more on the edgy side. Typical saturday night dive bar patrons I must say. My friends immediately felt weird and wanted to leave but no one said anything when we got there so we all proceeded to order a foshbowl drink which was our original plan. Fishbowl drink each then bounce to the clubs. Holy smokes! These bowls were massive. And only after we had got our drinks did we all say we wanted to leave hahahah. So in the corner of Hawaiian Don’s is a group of younger college kids, totally sticking out from the rest of the crowd, trying to down a giant fishbowl drink as quickly as possible. Good memories now but then it wasn’t so fun.
So if your like me, younger college kid going with a group of like-​minded friends, head to Hawaiian Don’s during happy hour and definitely not late at night

oh god, this place is awesome. I have yet to find a place like it. Don’t forget the free hot dogs!
