I ended up here because it was Sunday, and… well, ya know. Oklahoma on Sundays isn’t exactly hoppin’. Pros: Alcohol(not TOO terrible overpriced) Knowledgeable bartenders Open on Sundays and open late Decent/friendly service Cons: Smoking(con for me and others, maybe not for you) Patron played music

The staff is attentive and friendly, but the smoke OMG. Another review said this HH is less smoky than the others, I can’t imagine how. Felt like someone was blowing smoke right in my face. Ugh.

Being hungry after 11 p.m. in OKC = Severely limited options. You can get something from McDonald’s, or you can get a really cheap colon cleanse from Taco Bell’s value menu. Neither option is appealing. So then the decision is:(1) be hungry, or(2) smell like smoke and not be hungry. Hunger won. My clothes went into the washer as soon as I got home. The 4-stars is just for the food. When you’re wanting greasy, unhealthy, delicious bar food, HH seems to have it figured out. I got a burger. It had jalapenos on it(other than that, it had all of the normal fixin’s). The burger was freaking delicious. I can’t be completely sure if hunger was clouding my judgment, but I devoured that burger, and each bite was amazing. I’m wondering how much better it would have tasted if the cigarette smoke wasn’t competing for my taste buds. The fries had that double-fried quality to them. They were potato sticks of deliciousness. The burger and fries came to $ 6.99 or something. It would have been cheaper if I had gotten the standard burger. Certainly the smoke isn’t as bad as I remember in the past, but it was also really quiet on a Thursday night /Friday morning around 12 a.m. so maybe that’s why? I wonder if smokers are no longer aware of how bad their habit smells, or if they just don’t care? There’s no judgment, just curiosity… The food is good enough for me to possibly overlook the occasional second-hand exposure. P. S. Part of the 4-stars is also for the brilliant music selection from the jukebox. The patrons of HH know good music. P. P. S. It’s a great place to watch the NBA Finals. Especially now that the Thunder is out, you can expect it to be quieter.

This particular Hudson’s is probably the best in the city. The staff always seem to provide good service when I’m there. I go there almost exclusively on Saturday nights for the karaōke. Wayne was the best Karaōke host there, but the woman who replaced him is okay. It’s still going to be very smokey, but they have good drink specials and the draft domestic stuff is very cheap.

This is my favorite bar in the city. I know all the staff and feel totally safe here. I know if some douche bag screws with me, the staff has my back, no questions asked. The drinks are good and cheap. The karaōke is pretty good on Saturday nights and I actually think that this location is not nearly as smoky as other Hudsons. The other patrons are friendly and for a bar, the food is pretty good. I feel safe and comfortable here and that is most important to me.

I hear the staff is super friendly and that the drink specials are great but I can only handle about twenty minutes maximum of Henry Hudson’s at a time because of the smoke. The smoke is like a monster from a horror movie– it smothers and chokes you and leaves this film on your skin, clothes, and hair. Apparently, I’m the only person bothered by the fog-thick smoke because Hudson’s is always packed. Always. If you are a smoker or have less sensitive eyes and lungs, you might have a wonderful, relaxing time there. I just wish they had better ventilation.
