This is my go to grocery store. I give it an extra star for over the top service. If they don’t have it they put forth a valiant effort to track it down and bring it to you. The on the go meal options are also starting to find their way into my weekly life(who has time to make all those specialty salads and bread?!?). The meat and seafood counter is run by helpful and knowledgeable people able to provide advice when asked. And the value for the quality is solid. I also went on Christmas Eve and was afforded 6 minutes to grab all I needed before it closed– the Supermarket Rush activity was enough to keep me laughing all through the holidays(the trick was not to waste time on a cart and cram as much as you could into the veggie bags). So if you want to impress your trying to hard friends with money wasted at some upscale joint please do so– but my dough stays with this store.

Online express shopping fail. It was rainy today so I thought what a perfect chance to try this. I got home and had 8 packages of chicken instead of .8 lbs. and none of the 3 lbs. of fresh ground beef that I ordered. I called and they said I could return it at my convenience but there isn’t really anything convenient about this. I still need that ground beef for my dinner recipe. :(

An amazingly nice store, and I can’t argue with those who say it’s swank enough to give Whole Foods a little run for their money.(With better prices, too). Always well-stocked, and their bakery makes some beautiful creations.

What a lovely store! It says on the outside«Employee Owned». These employees should be proud of themselves! Everything about the store is attractive. They sell Boar’s Head deli meats which is a major plus for me. Lovely bakery with so much choice. I wish there was a store as nice as this where I live. We have Sprouts, but this place is even better than that. If you live in the area and haven’t been to this store because you may have been put off by other Homelands, give it a try. Just a fantastic store!

Wow. When we lived in Shawnee… The absolute worst grocery store in the history of the world was a Homeland(on Kickapoo — just terrible) and the other on Harrison was just a hair better. So I had no desire to stop in when I passed it by. But I wanted an orange so I figured… Why not… Wow again. It’s completely different. Think Whole foods without the price tag. Excellent cheese selection. The produce is fresh. Good selection of products. Someone cares. Good work, okc Homeland on May! Strong work!

The best Homeland in Oklahoma City by far. Probably the best grocery store in NWOKC. Some things that bring me in time and again: Tabouli, Boar’s Head deli, Spicy Cajun Crab Dip, Baked Potato Salad, Dry Aged Prime Rib, fresh produce and fruits and a large selection of gourmet cheeses! All checkout lines open from 4PM to 6PM and friendly cashiers. They carry a wide selection of NA beers though I wish they’d carry Buckler’s(hint, hint) so I could skip going to Whole Foods completely. Locally owned, support them, you’ll be glad you did!

Had a good friend who told me this homeland is the most profitable store in Oklahoma. You can tell. The store is always well stocked. Friendliest staff. Very helpful people. The bakery is always so nicely done. I’ll usually run in for something to take to a party.

This is what my husband and I refer to as «The Good Homeland» to distinguish it from the lackluster and disappointing other Homeland stores. You guys, it cannot compete with Whole Foods, or Forward Foods, or Trader Joe’s, but it is one good grocery store. The cheese selection is very good, including treats from Cowgirl Creamery and fancysmancy stuff like Midnight Moon and St. Andre(no Pierre Robert, but seriously, that is what Forward Foods is for). The meat selection is awesome, with dry aged steaks, local meat, and all the disgusting deli meat your heart could desire. Dairy is ok, with some locals and organic milks. They have all the regular stuff you’d want from a supermarket, and a very good produce section– hell, they even had chermoya at one point! …though I must admit, I’ve never seen a fiddlehead fern there :-( All in all, it’s probably the best non-specialty grocery store in the area.

Upon walking in, you feel like you’re in one of those fancy Safeways like you find in nice towns in California. The cheese section is wonderful — full of cheeses I’m thrilled to find at Whole Foods, much less a Homeland. We were making homemade pizza tonight, so our list was pretty random, but they had it all. They had three different kinds of figs, and local greens from Peach Crest Farm. The beautiful produce section was impressive, but it’s nice that it is also a store where you can find everything on your list. We needed things like Fresca and Honey Bunches of Oats, and you can get those here, at comprable prices to B4L. It’s nice to be able to buy everything in one place, especially when I’ve been known to go to 3 – 4 places to get the best of everything. Apparently every lane is open from 4P-7P — what a concept! We’ll be back; next time, I’ll bring more reusable bags!
