I’ve been waiting for 2 hours now with chronic acute pain and very tired. Sitting here in this waiting room to be called back and when I had ask for a wait time I was responded with attitude from the triage nurse. This hospital has to be the worst I’ve ever been to. The staff isn’t friendly and the wait has been horrible. In so much pain yet no help nor a staff worried about my pain. What is someone to do in a situation as such. I am not ever coming to this facility in the future and I hope that others heed this warning never to go here. That is all…

I really wish i could give them 10 stars if I could. The review is specifically for the Labor and Delivery section of the hospital and I don’t know if the quality I saw here is the same across the other departments. I really doubt anyone could have a bad experience here. My wife and I had a baby last week and it ended up being one the most stress free experiences for both of us thanks to the staff at this department. The doctors, nursing staff and hospital staff in general were some of the friendliest and most helpful people around. My wife actually told me at the time of her discharge that she wished she could stay longer. The only thing that my wife wasn’t that thrilled about was the food which was mostly bland but then this really isn’t a restaurant to be rated on that particular aspect.

I can’t say much about staff but I’m so let down by the blue cloud of cigarette smoke outside the emergency room doors. I’m here for a heart problem and I don’t need an extra dose of death before I enter. Can we get the equivalent of ‘smoker’ spike strips?! I interned here so I’m bias against the staff and the happening so this is only based on the trash outdoors.

Excellent layout and user friendly! FREEPARKING! Staff was very helpful. Nurses are so calming and sweet! Feel very confident about the level of care my loved one is receiving in the NICU.

I am extremely turned off by the customer service and follow up of the Integris Endocrinology department. If I have to keep calling because you fail to return messages, you obviously don’t want or need new business. I am still on thyroid medication from my pregnancy and just moved to the area. Per them I should have received a call back about their process and setting up a new appt with a doctor there within 24 – 48 hrs… and I am past that time. Please don’t give an excuse that you take in 60 calls a day — especially when I came from the east coast(NYC area in particular) where we are very busy ourselves. I can see why this medical center as a whole has such poor reviews!

I’ve worked in the healthcare industry for 13 years on the technical side, dealing with everyone from RN’s to Physicians to CIO’s. So I think I have a pretty good take on what constitutes a good healthcare experience; and I just had an excellent one with Integris. I’m diabetic and needed to see a specialist. Fortunately, I’m one of the few remaining people in America who still has awesome health insurance. They referred me to Dr. Msallaty at B.I. The appointment was easy to set up and his office at the Baptist complex was easy to find. Here’s where it gets weird. I showed up 30 minutes early to fill out my new patient paperwork. My appointment was at 9:30 — they called me in at 9:15. You never get called in early. 20 minutes late is considered early in Doctor Land. What alternate universe is this, I wondered? Even stranger, the Dr. himself walks in at…9:30 sharp. After this series of unlikely events I should have bought a lottery ticket. The nursing staff was very professional and courteous. And cute. And married. Dammit. Dr. Msallaty spent 45 minutes with me going over my data and discussing my condition. Most physicians I’ve dealt with in the past are more like a McDonalds drive-thru — minimal contact and maximum throughput. I really felt like I got excellent treatment and he took the time to answer all my questions. I can’t speak for all offices within the Baptist complex, but the Endocrinology department really has it together. Hope you never need it but if you do, I recommend.

I don’t usually review hospitals, but when a business goes beyond what they have to do in order to cash my check I like to say something. Baptist Medical Center employs doctors who care about the treatment of their patients. They actually want to cure people MORE than they want to play a round of golf. The waiting rooms were nice, clean and stocked with snacks. The patient rooms were clean and the nurses friendly. The hospital has therapy dogs – rescues which like to walk around with a handler visiting the waiting rooms and patient rooms just to make everyone feel a little better. Top notch place.
