Stopped in because jimmy’s egg seemed too expensive, we’ll there just as high. Very plain looking restaurant and very plain food. I got the biscuit and gravy, the biscuit was a freezer kind they just ed popped into a microwave and the gravy was just peppered, no sausage. My husband got pancakes and eggs, was ok. If your gonna try to beat the big chain breakfast places, make a statement with your food. Just very plain experience.

Had a craving for pancakes on this chilly morning and Joey’s was just the place. Mario did a great job of keeping the coffee coming and the crisp bacon and fluffy cakes were super.

Joey’s was a great choice for breakfast today for Father’s Day. They were very welcoming, our waitress was very prompt but not overbearing. Joey’s has the look and feel of an American diner and the menu of an American diner. We arrived about 8 am to a somewhat empty restaurant and by the time we left at 9 am it was packed. Each of us had the usual American breakfast fare and it was delicious. The coffee was good, too. If you’re looking for a great place for breakfast in NWOKC this is your place.

I had a pretty decent experience here at breakfast the other morning. The have a large variety of breakfast and lunch items, diner style. I had the florentine benedict with spinach and tomato. The hollandaise sauce was a good consistency. You can pick potatoes or fruit for your side. My boyfriend had the dish with two eggs, sausage, hashbrowns and a biscuit with gravy. The biscuit was nice and dense. The hashbrowns were less crispy and more wet, which he likes them that way. The sausage however was not good. It had no taste whatsoever, just a generic meat flavor. Anyway, we had good service and and left full. I would consider returning again in the future.

We went there to have a birthday lunch for my fiancé’s brother. Got there about 1:30pm. And ordered our food. The waitress thought my fiancé mentioned he wanted the home fries and he wanted French fries. She didn’t try to resolve the situation. It was easier to keep the wrong type of potatoes. Also, I got the country scramble with home fries and side of fruit. Which has given me a terrible stomach ache all day. I’m sorry but I won’t come back. The food wasn’t a wow factor for me.

Probably the best breakfast I’ve has in OKC so far, much better than the chain Jimmys Egg, or whatever. I cant really go into too much detail here, I mean, it was your standard American fare breakfast… eggs, hashbrowns/potatoes, stuff like bacon, sausage, ham, cfs, corned beef hash, etc. The reason for the 5 you ask? Well, they house make their own sausage, the bacon was perfectly cooked, the hashbrowns were plentiful and while I didn’t have them, I saw others with pancakes and they looked delicious. Overall, I just get the feeling that they cared about the«simple» food they were putting out. Don’t go here expecting some fancy brunch type stuff, this is just good quality, well cooked breakfast food… I will be back… My only comment, owners, if you read this, please, please, PLEASE change out your lighting… fluorescent lights are the absolute worst and make the atmosphere unappealing. Im not marking off stars for that, but I really should… but then again, I just really hate fluorescent lights…

Ate at Joey’s this morning as my wife was traveling and I didn’t feel like cooking. Read the reviews and decided to give them a try as they are near our house. What a nice surprise. Was a little worried when I first walked in because there were only 3 occupied tables but was greeted and seated promptly. Ordered coffee which was really good, not bitter, good breakfast coffee which they kept filled. Then ordered the Heap omelette, not the prettiest omelette I’ve ever had but very tastey, with hash browns. Plenty of food, nice filling. Debated the corned beef hash but will try that next time. By the time I left, the place was full. Inside it’s pretty plain but the service was good, reasonably priced and the food is worth going back for. Thumbs up.

My husband and I took his mom to brunch and wanted to change it up! The service was absolutely fantastic and the food was even better! I was super pleased with the server who went above and beyond to make sure I ordered what I wanted and I was not sure what that was! Lol I had the Salmon with spinach and perfectly poached eggs! I was SUPERPLEASED the flavor was fantastic eggs spot on poached. My hubby LOVED his chicken fried steak and eggs cooked perfectly, he usually does not eat eggs out(he likes his eggs well done scrambled). This place is a fantastic family establishment that I know we will make a regular stop for our weekend brunch dates!

Varieties of omlettes !! If u are a veggie lover go for herbivores Maximus — I ordered with no cheese though. When they serve bacon that melts like cheese you need not order extra cheese ;) The Belgium waffle is adequate. I would recommend to give this place a try. Worth it !!

Had breakfast there recently. Everything was fine until I found a hair wrapped around my breakfast potatoes. I complained of course, and the server apologized. I expected them to comp the meal as is usually the case(we are talking 10 bucks). Another person appeared at the table, mumbled something about a new check and apologized. When I looked at the bill, NOTHING was comped. I called her back and she explained that the owner(who of course wasn’t there) won’t let them take more than 10% off the bill. I asked why the owner won’t empower them to properly address customer concerns and she said«that’s just their policy». Incensed, I explained that«my policy» is never to return to a place that holds so little regard for their customers…

It’s a little bright for my taste as I like the dimmer light in my cafes. But it’s a traditional American Café which is what I like for breakfast. The service was fast and friendly and judging by the increase in people we weren’t the only fans.

First thing first. Cute little area of northern OKC. Jamba Juice, Starbucks, you get it. I was passing thru town and wanted good breakfast at 7am. Glad I found Joey’s. Outside is a strip mall inside could a fresh coat of paint and décor change and move aways from industrial fluorescent lighting. Menu could use an update and redesign as well. Move past that to the food. Really good breakfast. Great presentation I had The Heap omelette and was completely full after finishing all. Excellent potatoes. I would have given this place 5 stars if slightly better coffee and décor was updated. Food is 5 stars.

No gluten free menu, which we understand. However they also don’t cook any foods so they are gluten free. Eggs, meat, potatoes etc can be easily prepared gluten free. That is fine, but don’t go here if you have any food restrictions. They could care less.

Another solid breakfast place in OKC. The food was above average, and the customer service was great. I love it when I don’t have to ask for a coffee refill. Décor is a little funky, but who cares. Not too busy on a weekend morning.

Food was good. I especially liked the breakfast potatoes. Surprised to see the smaller pancakes that came with the meal but appreciated not having to waste them. Service was nowhere near as bad as described in most reviews. Need a sign at counter telling you to grab a seat or wait for service.

My friends took me out for breakfast here when I was in town. The café is tucked away in a grim strip of stores. The reception area is small and opens up into a large eating area. The eating area is dimly lit and the atmosphere is gloomy, which is offset by the cheerful staff. I wasn’t sure what to think; my mind was stuck on «crab cakes». I sat there juggling the Crab Louie Omelet or the Egg Crab Louie. The Crab Louie Omelet had a little bit more pull because it also offered a pancakes and it seemed like the Egg Crab Louie would not offer enough food(I’m a fat boy!). I went against my fat boy tendencies and got the Egg Crab Louie, and OMFGSOFREAKINGGOOD! Don’t even hesitate, just get the Egg Crab Louie. It’s amazing, and the serving size is very generous. I thought I was going to get one baby crab cake patty with a baby egg on top, WRONG! I have to go here every time I visit now. Great food, great service, the perfect hole in the wall.
