I was very impressed with Dr. Beasley and his staff. They were very kind, courteous, and professional. That was the first dentist visit I’ve enjoyed in my life. I would highly recommend Dr. Beasley and his office.

Quite simply, Dr. Beasley is the best dentist I have been a patient of in my 46 years. His hygenists are very friendly and know what they are doing. The physical facility is attractive, comfortable, and up to date with technology. The woman who checks people out is highly professional. She remembered my name on my second visit without prompting. The weak link is the person who usually makes appointment. Nuttier than a bag of peanuts, and not as competent as one would be. Dr. Beasley has an electric personality and is just as skilled as a dentist as he is interpersonally. He is the best around, bar none.

In full disclosure, I have always loved going to the dentist. I understand that makes me a bit of an odd bird, and I can’t explain it except in wisps of maybe’s. All the same, Dr. Beasley’s office ranks among the best I have experienced. Your first impression, I am sure, will be a good one. Everyone who works here is super friendly and welcoming– even hygienists filling in.* I always wonder whether I know the office manager from somewhere else, because she is so warm and kind, and seems genuinely happy to see me. A nice reminder of the calming effect kindness has! I’ve also appreciated the emails and phone calls made by the office in order to confirm my appointments. On one particular day when I had an appointment but my childcare fell through, the office manager told me that I was welcome to bring my children with me. While I was a little nervous about this, my kids are generally well behaved and old enough that I –yikes– went ahead with her suggestion. Surprisingly, all went well! My kids stayed in the waiting area, playing in the small children’s alcove. I was very glad to be able to keep my appointment and felt comfortable that they would be able to find me should they need me. I’ve never heard of another office offering such an arrangement just to keep an appointment, but it worked out very well for me! To add to the cheerful hello’s, the place is clean and cozy. Exam chairs face east windows with frilly grasses blowing in the wind– I caught a case of zen for a few moments this morning while I waited. I like how each hygienist personalizes her own space with photos and memorabilia, which makes the office far less austere than what I remember from Muppet Babies: Dental Hyginks. Meep! Pro tip: take an ibuprofen if your gums are sensitive to dental cleaning. It helps ;) Exams typically take an hour plus.(And the wait time is negligible– I can’t comment on the chairs in the waiting room, because I have never had to use them.) This is not a problem for me; rather, I appreciate the careful cleaning and the time Dr. Beasley(and his staff) takes to answer questions. He’s friendly and remembers details from prior visits, both personal and clinical.(Maybe he charts conversations? I don’t know; I’m always happy that he remembers who I am, what I do, and cares enough to make me feel welcome.) In addition to regular cleaning appointments, I’ve had a minor procedure completed by Dr. Beasley, and he was sensitive to my comfort throughout the procedure. Payment at time of appointment is typically based on what your insurance will pay. This system seems to work well: I’ve never received a bill for work done at Dr. Beasley’s. I don’t know why I’ve waited to review Dr. Beasley’s office. He’s a professional running an efficient, personable ship. I’m happy to recommend both him and his staff for dental work. *The office wasn’t short-staffed today; in order to respect clients’ time, a hygienist– a wonderful one, based on my experience with her today– was hired to cover for the absent hygienist. I’ve had other offices, both dental and other medical services, cancel my appointment on the occasions that their staff isn’t there. Worse, I’ve been to several offices which kept my appointment but forced me to wait an excessive amount of time.(I know because I’ve asked whether the wait time is usual, and the answer has often been, «Oh, we’re short staffed today.») Thank you to Dr. Beasley and his staff for respecting your clientele enough to provide superior service without a hiccup on days when you’re missing a regular!
