Good place to try! You won’t see a sign out front stating that you’re actually at the right location but you’ll know once you walk in. I recommend trying the Quesadillas — very good. Prices have gone up, as it’s $ 6.75 for one LARGE Quesadilla. Good mexican food!

I always love this place! Don’t expect this to be a Tex Mex place. It’s real Mexican. They do serve a burger I believe, if you have somebody wanting that. Look on the wall at the specials! They will do thier best to make you happy! While your there, try Mexican Coke made with cane sugar and drink from the glass bottle and everything is so much better!

Excellent barbacoa tacos! Beans and rice. dear lord, I tried to eat all of it, but couldn’t. Artist friend brought me here saying it was her favorite taco place, and she’s vegetarian. She got the potato and egg burrito with half an avocado on the side. Come to the Stockyards in OKC and treat yourself to great Mex fare.

The restaurant itself is in a shabby area, however, the food is amazing. When we first arrived the hostess was very nice and patient for us to complete our order. As for the food, I’d highly recommend their burritos that have great portions and tons of flavor. This place makes up for their crappy location with good service and one heck of an authentic chef. The food was great although a bit messy. 4⁄5 stars, lost one due to location/décor

I had the huevos rancheros for breakfast and they were great. I had been looking for a good Mexican breakfast place and my search ends here. I will definitely be back.

The burritos are huge, all pork and green chili. This is a Taqueria, you order at the counter and they will bring your food to you. Taqueria no not serve free chips and salsa. Their street tacos are also excellent, your choice of meat with cilantro and onions. Home made green and red hot sauce.

Very nice spot with a good selection. Staff was very courteous but when I brought my burrito home I just felt it was too greasy. But I’d give it another shot

It’s about time I pay homage via a Unilocal Review to Los Comales… I really dig it. It’s been called a taco shop, but in reality, it has a full menu — and while all of it’s taqueria’esque, the experience here is typical of real Mexican restaurants — especially those on the Baja Peninsula — north of Cabo. Places like Guerrero Negro y Mulage. I love the value here and the people who work here smile. They are friendly. They are real. Customers too… Best item on the menu? Any if the Burro’s or the Tostada’s. Order tacos or tostadas here and you will get three… And they are huge. Come hungry, leave stuffed and satisfied. Thanks to this little restaurant, I can enjoy the best of ‘real Mexican’ only steps from my office… And if I weren’t that close, I’d still come here often. One thing I wish they’d add: marinated carrots and jalapeños… San Diego style… But, this isn’t SD, so never mind. :-). Well Done Los Comales! Thank you for being my go-to joint!

As I sit here catching my breath from ravenously devouring the gigantic chorizo breakfast burrito they handed over to me I’m reflecting on my experience. I ordered the number nine breakfast burrito but requested a change to chorizo from sausage which they did, no questions or extra fees. As expected with chorizo the burrito came out extra greasy with that fatty goodness coating the potatoes and eggs. The large corn tortilla added the perfect delivery system for this bit of culinary perfection. I added their salsa Verde which sent this thing over the edge. Once the feast began each bite was better than the last pushing me into a feeding frenzy likened by starving gray wolves in the arctic Alaskan wilderness savoring their first kill of the winter. Fortunately I was alone or else I may have began growling at any person getting too close. Obviously I recommend this place for a person that enjoys a good meal, just makes sure you have lots of napkins and wet wipes!

This place is alright. I’ve been twice. The 1st time I went around 6am. Seems they don’t open until 8. Hmmm breakfast joint that doesn’t open before dawn. Ok fine. I ordered the bacon, egg, & potato burrito. Which was huge. I would’ve liked less potatoes, but it was good. I really liked their verde sauce. My daughter loves this place so we went last weekend for birthday. Remembering they don’t open Til 8 I made sure to be there at that time so I didn’t have to wait around. WELL, apparently they run on their own time. I’m a very punctual person so I made sure to be arrive around 8:15. I didn’t want to seem to eager hehe. We walked in and they told us they weren’t open yet. Walked back out. UGH. We waited outside until 8:43 for them to let us in. Seriously, If it weren’t for my daughter, both times, I would’ve left. Here’s a suggestion; How about offering some coffee and a seat inside? The food is alright. Staff is rude. I wouldn’t recommend it to my friends & won’t go back unless forced.

This is a great hole-in-the-wall restaurant that I think too few people know about. It’s near 15th on Agnew and most people who come to this area to eat head to Cattleman’s…big mistake. I’d take this place over Cattleman’s any day of the week! The staff is friendly and will happily help you with their large array of menu choices. But let me just tell you, everything is delicious and you really can’t order wrong here! The burritos are a meal unto themselves, so don’t order them for a light lunch. I swear you get a pound of meat in those behemoths. My personal favorites are the cilantro chicken and green chile pork.

Here’s the thing. I used to just come to Agnew for the steak at a little place known as Cattleman’s. Yeah, I dabbled in their breakfast, but that was mostly because I worked night shift and they are one of the few establishments that serves beer with their eggs. Little did I know what I was missing out on. Just across the street and a few doors south lies this gem. I don’t care what you order here. It’s good. Not kidding. Spin around blindfolded and throw a dart at the menu Pin the Tail on the Donkey style, and I promise you will like what shows up in front of your face. The machacado anything is yummers, and the lengua is equally as good. Just don’t make the mistake I did and order a breakfast burrito and well… anything else. They aren’t small and you’ll injure yourself trying to eat everything. Don’t forget to wash it down with a real Coke either!

Easily one of the cheapest and most consistent taco places in the Metro. True it’s interior looks like a real Mexican restaurant,(bare concrete floors and second hand furniture) but the food sells the place. Everyone from office workers to construction workers eat there and the food is worth it. I usually get the Lengua Torta,(tongue sandwich) but have tried all their meats and most of the preparation options. Their green chili pork is superb and their red chili pork is just as good. Some of the dishes are on the oily side but it’s usually from either the barboca or the cherizo and let’s face it both are really fatty meats and it’s to be expected.

If you’re looking for amazing, authentic Mexican food this is your place.!! With Telemundo playing on the t.v. and a plethora of children’s candy and toy machines this is as authentic an atmosphere as you can get. This afternoon I had the best taco in the entire world!!! All the ingredients were fresh and tasty and I would have loved to have about 8 more tacos. The menu does not really have much of a meal option(you pretty much order a la carte). But I find this okay because I pay for what I really want to eat and am never disappointed. Not going to lie … the atmosphere is very basic and is very run down and has a feel of being in someone’s basement. But I don’t mind this at all this time because the food will have you coming back no matter what the place looks like. You can tell this is a hidden jewel in OKC because one block over is the Cattleman Steakhouse and appears to get a lot of attention by the tourists. But if they only knew what amazing food was one block over, this place would be out the door with business. This restaurant clearly has a Ma and Pop feel to it, locally owned, and family run.

I went back to Los Comales recently and it was a bit on the yucky side. It seems that the tacos are a lot oilier than I remember from the last two times I was there. The worst part was the chorizo burrito I ordered, it almost makes me sick to think about it… It was so full of that red liquified chorizo fat and runny refried beans, that it was like holding a bowl of «ewww» soup contained by a tortilla. I could barely stomach it, but forced myself to «drink» most of it only cause I paid for it. I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this restaurant ever again [hurling noise]. There are much better taquerias out there.

By far my favorite taco/burrito place in OKC! Incredibly cheap and excellent food.
