My boyfriend came here twice, each visit about a week apart. I brought him in for severe bilateral leg pain and limb numbness. The first visit was positive. The nurses were friendly, the nurse practitioner was caring(though she couldn’t do much for him), and even the insurance lady was bubbly and kind. He left not in pain and thought he was good until he could get in with his PCP. However, he had to come back yesterday in the middle of the night. The meds the NP had prescribed him had ran out and he just needed something to hold him over until his PCP appointment(two days later). His physician in the Mercy ER was Dr. Brent C. Wilson. This man left my boyfriend crying from pain(literal tears) in his room(which was nothing more than a curtain pulled.) He was embarrassed and felt so helpless. Dr. Wilson told my boyfriend there was no «magical cure» for him and that he «didn’t know what to do for him without a diagnosis.» YOU’RE the doctor, buddy. YOU give the diagnosis. Dr. Wilson refused to even examine him. My boyfriend ended up just getting up and leaving and heading to Integris Baptist where they actually helped him. For your own sake, don’t go to Mercy. Their doctors apparently don’t want to do any work for you.

Mercy surgical center near I 35 and 15th in Edmond sucks. My wife had surgery this morning and the surgeon did not sign her prescriptions before he left. We had to wait an extra hour for someone to sign them. They didn’t date the scrips, so I had to go back. They then dated them 2⁄15 rather than 6/15, which I didn’t notice, again rendering them invalid. I went back and they corrected the 2⁄15 by writing over it. This is invalid, too. Now, hours later, I’m waiting for a new scrip after 4 tries. So incompetent!!! Also, the nurse that screwed them up was smug and suggested I should have used their pharmacy, which was never even presented as an option. If there were negative stars, I’d use them. I’ll be using Integris in the future. AVOIDMERCY I-35LIKETHEPLAGUE, which you may get there based on their skill level.

Dr. Robert Crane and his staff in the ER are phenomenal! They are compassionate, caring, and very very kind. Thank you RN Gabby for the quick morphine shot. The extreme pain diminished and I was able to relax enough to fall asleep. Dr. Crane, thank you for not drawing blood. One of the things I hate in this world is that and it was like you knew that already! Thank you for making me feel comfortable.

Very caring staff, including housekeeping. I brought my mother from an Enid hospital to the ER(they called ahead) last October to see if anything could be done to help her. She was immediately taken to a room and given an MRI. Unfortunately, she had a brain tumor. We had been waiting all day to talk to the doctor and finally took a quick lunch break. One of the lovely housekeeping people came and let us know that the doctor was talking to my mother. We also had a second ER visit a couple of weeks later and I was still blown away by the compassion and professionalism of the Mercy staff.

Fast, little wait-time, efficient, pleasant staff. Need I say more? No, seriously, I came here tonight with a killer sinus infection and in 15 minutes, I was in, out, and on my way to the pharmacy for my antibiotics. Thanks, Mercy!

This review is for the ER specifically. I had been complaining to four different doctors about certain issues since last summer. Thanksgiving eve 2013, I had to go to the ER for immense pain. I waited only 5 minutes before getting a room, and the doctors, nurses, and staff were efficient in getting me the tests and scans I needed to figure out what was wrong. IV was started and blood was already drawn before a staff person came in with a portable computer to gather insurance and that sort of info. I walked out with an actual diagnosis of what was wrong, and it was rather serious(luckily I didn’t need surgery immediately and got a specialist and was treated a few weeks later). Had it not been for Mercy ER, I may still not know what was wrong with me. I have since had surgery and my issue hopefully resolved. My specialist/surgeon was able to quickly obtain my test results and scans from Mercy. My friend went to another local ER before my trip and they brushed her off, gave her pain meds, and sent her home, and she still doesn’t know what’s wrong(it’s mid January now). Many thanks to Mercy ER.

If you’re having some minor aches and pains, or maybe a rough cough and a runny nose… then I highly recommend the Mercy walk-in clinics around the city. All of the nurses and doctors I’ve met were extremely friendly and attentive to my concerns. Additionally, the wait times are unbelievably short… you’re in and out in no time! I’m a big fan of the Mercy clinics and hope that you’ll consider them when you have any questions/worries concerning your health. They’ll treat ya right! :)

This is probably the most difficult review I have ever written but I wanted to give a big God bless you to the ER doctors and nurses. On September 1st my brother was airlifted from Ardmore(where he lived) unconscious. My wife and I got the news here in Southern California and immediately boarded a plane. Unfortunately his fight for life was unsuccessful. The ER staff kept him on life support until we had arrived. All ER rules and regulations were waived as they allowed us to spend time saying our goodbyes, coming and going as we pleased and allowing other family and friends to mourn. Britney, one of the ER nurses, was one of the most compassionate, caring person I have ever met. She treated my brother and family with respect and care like no other. My brother was an organ donor so we were able to pay our last respects up until organ and tissue recipients were located and his body was transported to the OR. The Mercy ER staff have an unbelievable job having to deal with this kind of thing day in and day out. You are all a special breed. Thank you all so much for the care and compassion you showed my family and the genuine love and respect that was provided to my brother. Love and respect to all of your staff. God Bless you all.
