Motel 6

I write this review laying in my uncomfortable bed in this muggy, dirty hotel at 11pm after getting startled awake by our neighbors next door taking a shower because it creates an awful LOUD noise right over my bed. I’d maybe ask for another room, but this is already my 2^nd one. The last one didn’t have a working air conditioner on this mid summer night. Also, this hotel has two loose pit bulls running around that charged my smaller dog while out for a walk; they have been here for over 2 days per the front desk, but nothing is getting resolved with them? On top of that, when we called yesterday evening to book the stay for tonight as we’re traveling, they put us down for yesterday night, even though we called after 9PM?! Lastly, the sink explodes out and will literally soak you in an instant as they have shallow sinks. The wifi didn’t work AND they do not provide shampoo or conditioner, ugh.

Great place. Smoke free room and clean. I’m here for two weeks so I’ll come back with final update. So far staff is nice and manager amad is very serious about quality. Compared to the burning hole that is intownsuites edmond oklahoma this place is 5 star.
DONT STAY AT INTOWNSUITES SUITES UNLESS YOU ARE A CHAIN SMOKER!

They were in the middle of remodeling the building so it was pretty run down and gross when we got there, and a little sketchy.
Also, pretty sure my boyfriend got bed bugs. It was the only time we slept in separate beds during our road trip, and I didn’t have an issue with weird itchy bumps surfacing my skin!

This was a pleasant surprise. The room was very nice, simple but welcoming, and the price was reasonable ($ 50 senior rate including the taxes). The microwave and refrigerator were included and our room seemed to be recently remodeled with nice colors. Lighting for reading in bed is excellent, a rare thing in most motels. The bath room fixtures were modern, the heating/​cooling system very quiet, and the young woman at the desk friendly and helpful. Would recommend it to all except my most snobby friends. The room is a little small, but the «sitting room area» is well designed and completely functional for two people with iPads or laptops.
Food selection in the area is limited (i.e., walking distance) but breakfast at the Waffle House next door is a big plus as far as I’m concerned.

Places like this makes me wonder how in the heck can they stay in business… The place was pretty run down but I was desperate for a nap (if I hadn’t been driving for 16 hours already I would have kept going). Room was okay except when I woke up in the morning to get going I find a cockroach on the desk… YUCK! NOTE to anyone desperate to find a place to stay while driving cross country, if you are in Oklahoma City, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
