Booked appt through AHS. Tech came after waiting 2wks and repaired. Unit worked for several hours and then began leaking again. Sidney the non customer service oriented office manager said they could not come back until we filed ANOTHER claim and then they would reschedule us. She said we can’t put you ahead of the appointments we already have. You mean like us yesterday!!! We HAD an appt and he didn’t FIX it! Wow just wow! Terrible customer service! I submitted a complaint with AHS to have them removed from their service providers and will write a letter to Mr Appliance Corp. Already have the name of the OKC franchise owner to reference. I do want to mention the tech that came out was extremely nice — just didn’t repair properly. He should give office manager tips on courtesy and customer service.

Initial service call is $ 80. Getting the actual repair can be a challenge as they seem to take new customers’ appointments over the actual service fix calls. So, they may show up for the initial diagnosis, but leave you hanging with appliance in pieces after they get the $ 80 for initial call. They did get the job done & done well.

I had two other appliance guys look at my washing machine that’s leaking from the door gasket. Both of them stated that the extended warranty does not replace gaskets that aren’t torn. Finally, desperate, I went back to Lowes and asked them to either fix the washer or replace it. They said that I should call my own appliance repair man and they would cover the cost. I received Mr. Appliance as a referral from a client. They came out, looked at the washer, explained exactly why the gasket was leaking, and ordered the part before they left. I’m extremely pleased with them because they took my concern seriously, were painfully punctual, and very professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mr. Appliance to any client needing an appliance repair.
