If you’re planning on hauling horses and are in need of a layover or transfer spot this is the place to be! Ken and Donna Robinson of Robinson’s Barn Bed and Breakfast offer up a little bit of comfort and a whole lot of professionalism in their BB&B. We pulled in around midnight after a 28 hour haul from California with 4 untrained Icelandic Ponies who were headed on to Pennsylvania. Ken met us at the gate ready to help us unload and set the ponies up for the night. After a difficult unload, which he stayed with us for, Ken then set us up in our rooms for the night. They offer two bunk rooms in the barn, one with a queen size bed and the other with two twin beds. Both rooms come with their own shower, toilet, air conditioner, TV, mini fridge stocked with cold water bottles, coffee maker, and snacks. The rooms were clean, quiet, and odor free(you are in a barn after all). We finally settled in around 3:00 am only to be back at reloading at 6:30 am. Ken and Donna were right there to offer assistance during the reload, even pulling down panels and creating a chute for us to aid with our more difficult horses. They offer up first class service and accommodations in the most unlikely place. They are extremely professional and helpful and we would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a safe resting or transfer spot!
