Best turkey I’ve ever tasted! Reasonably priced, moist, and delicious! We really appreciated that they offered samples since we were first timers. Atmosphere is self-serve but nice. We really enjoyed it.

I am very unhappy that you can’t adhere to your own policy. If your policy is that you serve breakfast until 10:30 and I come by at 10:15, I shouldn’t be told that breakfast is over and I can pick through the breakfast tacos left on the heater. Especially on mother’s day.

The service is great; the ribs are not. We ordered the baby back ribs. They were not falling off the bone as described over the phone and they have a «weird» taste. Can’t explain the taste, just weird. We eat ribs alot and we know what’s delicious; these are not. The server/cook let us try the pork ribs, but even they had an odd taste and mealy texture. Can’t speak for anything else on the menu. A refund was kindly and promptly issued which causes us to hesitate to say«don’t bother». We won’t go back simply because all we wanted was ribs.

Great meats. We always get the sliced brisket and smoked turkey. Casual family atmosphere.

The meat was ok. Small portions for the price but the sides(I had baked beans and potato salad) were terrible. The BBQ sauce ruined the beans.

Hmm… gas station or BBQ? Gas station or BBQ? I see its a BBQ posing as a gas station and country store. On the good side the BBQ and sides are pretty solid. We had moist tender brisket, beautifully smoked turkey, delicious sausage and some nice pulled pork. The coleslaw and three bean salad are standard but excellent. They had two choices of BBQ sauce mild and hot. They were both on the tangy side and good but the hot wasn’t very hot. Roasted potatoes were good but drenched in way too much butter for my taste. The place is really set up as a take out joint even if you choose to eat in at one of their red checker covered picnic tables. And a picnic it is. All the food is served on butcher’s paper or paper trays. You serve yourself drinks and condiments and be sure to «clean up when your done because you mother isn’t here.» The service at the counter was very friendly but a little inefficient. In our case, our meat was sliced by a chef with amazing dexterity and lightening speed. It then sat on the cutting board for about 5 – 8 minutes while the rest of our order was assembled. By the time we got everything weighed and paid for(priced by the pound) our meat had cooled to room temperature. I prefer my BBQ warm. We ate it. We enjoyed it. We will eat it again. In my view, however, the attempt to create the artificial gas station/picnic atmosphere really took away from enjoying otherwise great tasting food. Next time I think we’ll take it home.

Rudy’s never disappoints. It has the real Texas BBQ feel that I know and love. I’ve lived in Dallas my whole life and have never actually been to the location there. My first time trying Rudy’s was in Amarillo, TX actually. Anyways, I give this restaurant a 5 star because it has all you need: BBQ, country store, and gas station all in one! it’d be nice if this location were off of I-35 instead though.

This is not the first time I have eaten at Rudy’s and I can tell you that every time I have gone the food has been excellent. This is my favorite barbecue place of all time. Every time I come to OKC I make sure I have time to stop in and get my favorite barbecue brisket, potato salad and anything else I could possibly get my hands on LOL. If you’re near OKC and you have time and have the taste for a great barbecue don’t miss out on Rudy’s you won’t regret it.

Delicious bar be cue! Loved how everything was a la carte. The chocolate pudding was so good! The staff was so helpful and friendly since it was our first time. Not too busy and a good fun environment!

Had lunch here today with co-worker. First time to eat here. Brisket was good, but the chile verde stew was bombastic! I could eat that stew everyday. $ 4 something for a pint. Clean place and nice, helpful staff. I will return. My coworker said the peach cobbler cobbled his mind. Hah.

Brisket tacos with refried beans and scrambled eggs. I don’t think anything else needs to be said but I will anyway. This was my first visit and pretty much a total surprise; we were in the area early Sunday am and I was looking for a place to get breakfast. A bbq joint was the last place I expected to be but it was right down the street and another reviewer was talking about breakfast tacos so it was on. Brisket was tender, moist and had a great smoke flavor. Very generous portions and dirt cheap. Will definitely be back.

We come pretty often on Sunday morning for tacos on the way to church. The morning crew is incredible. After coming for a few months, they remembered our names and what tacos we always get. Now we’ve been coming for over a year and they are like family. Their customer service is great-They greet you with a smile when you walk in and they’re happy to give a recommendation to any new customers. They’re passionate about making Rudy’s a place you want to come eat and sit for a while. The food is always hot, fresh, and in generous quantities. And they get it to you fast. The brisket, egg, potato, cheese is by far our favorite breakfast taco and we’ve tried all of them. The jalapeño sausage is our second favorite but we keep going back to the brisket. We come for lunch or dinner sometimes too. The quality of food and friendliness of staff remains the same no matter what time of day you come.

I actually thought this place was a gas station the first time I drove by and I never stopped then I was staying across the street and checked on Unilocal and saw it was actually a barbecue restaurant and I have to say it was very delicious definitely a place I’ll be going back. The one thing I can probably suggest to the restaurant would be to remove the gas pumps from the front of the store I totally would not have never stopped at a gas station to get barbecue which is exactly what I thought the place was.

When I am on a road trip this is what I’m looking for to eat. Next to geocaching there is no better thing to find. Thank you for building in Oklahoma! Now bring it closer to Broken Arrow and we will be in heaven. From regular to the Sissy sauce it goes down smooth, and the cream corn is only trumped by the sweetness of the Buttermilk pie.

Good food, the BBQ was exceptional, as was the staff who guided us through their unique dining experience. For 7 with drinks, we spent about $ 80. Something that was totally unexpected, they give free bread with the meat, and he handed us a whole very large loaf! The kinda-down side, if your looking for something other than a picnic type of experience, this is not the place for you. We had a party of 7, and the meat was put into a tray, we ate on wax paper, there were no French fries, and we waited on ourselves. We will be back though!

Good quality BBQ. Very laid back country atmosphere. If you like to be served & waited on this isn’t for you. Just good food, reasonable prices & you can get gas before you get on your way home lol. Worth stopping by.

I love Rudys… One of my favorite BBQ places as they have great consistency for a chain restaurant. This one in particular mimics my normal one in Texas. Their brisket is always on point with plenty of pepper. Its always cooked well, not too dry and not full of fat. Occasionally, it could be a bit warmer, but when i come by at 2.30 thats to be expected a little.
