I am brand new to OKC and got a flat tire while in the neighborhood and Sears was the closest place I could find to get it fixed. I didn’t really have an options because the tire was completely flat, so I just pulled in. On the bright side, they do fix tires and were able to get me in with no appointment. They did say it would take an hour before they could see me and I said that was fine. I waited an hour and saw them pulling me car in to fix the tire. I asked them to go ahead and do an oil change since it was already there and I was due for one anyway. They told me the tire was not repairable and I would need to purchase a new tire. Fine. I told them to just put on a new tire and I would pay for it. They asked me to sign a paper authorizing a new tire and I signed and went to sit back down for them to put the new tire on and do the oil change. TWOHOURSLATER, I finally got fed up with sitting in the waiting room and went to go find out what was taking so long. When I walked out, the guy was like, «Oh yeah, your car is done». I have no idea whether it seriously just took them two hours to do an oil change and switch out a tire or whether they finished quicker and just forgot to tell me my car was done. Regardless, I spent 3 hours there today and was not impressed with how long it took. I completely understand having to wait one hour to get in, but two hours to complete an oil change and to put on one new tire seems ridiculous to me. I’ve had oil changes and new tires put on in my former state and I’ve never had service this slow before. I suppose that if you’re in a pinch(with a freak flat tire right in front of Sears), then I would recommend this place since they can at least take care of the issue without an appointment. However, I personally will not be coming back here for service if I can help it just because they take so long.
